“Great Family Stay Our family of 4 adults and 1 child stayed at White Sands this past week for our vacation in the OBX. The home was very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The pool was a huge hit, and the pool cleaners stopped by twice throughout the week to ensure the water chemicals were correct and the pool remained clean (all while not disturbing our stay). The playground was a nice touch, although didn't get much use during our stay. The home came with cornhole, many beach chairs, two beach carts, and an ocean kayak for use, although this wasn't conveyed in the listing. I wish it had been conveyed in the listing because we ended up renting some things that were already at the house for use. The covered/uncovered balcony was great as you could get sun or shade when you wanted. This home is on the main road with lots of traffic as its the only way to/from southern shores, duck, and corolla, so just be aware you won't get those quiet mornings or evenings listening to the water on the porch. Overall, we had a very lovely stay, and would recommend this home to anyone who wants a fun and enjoyable stay at the beach with the benefit of having a private pool.”
