Excellent The Ice House was perfect for us. The main floor with kitchen, living, dining area, and master bedroom suite was as good as we have ever experienced. Loved the pool and hot tub also. We also really liked the neighborhood: The beach is just beautiful in that area, and it was not overcrowded. Resort Realty personnel were very helpful in getting us the reservation. We would not hesitate to contact them again to secure a future reservation.

Excellent Our 14th year at Captain's Retreat II

The house was excellent for our family group -- beautiful ocean views, a well-equipped kitchen (except for towels - bring some, even if you're getting the linens package), just walk out the door and you're at the beach. The location is ideal, between Duck and its shops and the larger commercial areas south of the bridge. It's easy to go either direction for shopping, restaurants, etc. Probably the favorite of the 4 houses our family has rented in OBX.

Beautiful Home This home has been our beach vacation spot for over 10 years. It is lovely, comfortable, well equipped, beautiful ocean views, and just the right size for a large family or a couple of smaller family groups. This is also a great location on the beach, off the main road, stoplight access to the main road, and less crowded. There are nice updates, big or small, each year. Checking in and out is very convenient, as well - no office stops in all the traffic. Feels like a second home and look forward to it each year!

WOW! We won the beach house lottery! We can't fully describe how wonderful, beautiful, and we'll equipped Captain's Retreat II is in 2017. We were in awe when we entered this lovely, newly updated beach home. It has it all. Thank you to the owners for sharing their wonderful beach home with our family!
