Second stay at flip flop inn 9/27-10/2 2026. Great stay a true hidden gem .

Home was very clean and easy to get to, my family had a blast! We loved the pool and hot tub, it was a quick 10 minute walk to the beach. There was plenty of beach chairs and boogie boards, I would’ve appreciated an umbrella or some kind of sun cover. They also had all the fixings for coffee and tea to get you through the first day. We would absolutely book this home again and recommend to everyone! I do think the twin beds in the kids room need to be replaced, maybe some comfier pillows all around.

This was the perfect rental for a family vacation. There were parking passes for a local beach access down the road and a kid-friendly walkable beach access less than 0.5 from the home. The home was furnished with everything advertised. The host was easy to contact and very friendly! This home is located close to many different stores and restaurants!

Amazing trip! This trip was absolutely perfect. The house was neatly arranged and welcoming. The amenities, the hot tub and pool, were all in working order and a fantastic added bonuses to the short walk to the ocean. After a summer of hard work, there was no better way to rest and recoup. Thank you so much for making this trip a perfect experience.

A fantastic time at Flip Flop Inn! Really enjoyed my recent weeklong stay at Flip Flop Inn (I mean except for the weather at the beginning of the week, but nothing to do about that!). This house is well-equipped, very clean, and super comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance, utensil, and gadget a person could need! The outdoor pool was great -- small, but great! The gas grill worked perfectly and the big TVs in every room were much appreciated during football season. This was the first time I'd ever stayed in an OBX home with the hot tub so separated from the pool -- the hot tub is on a third floor deck, while the pool is of course at ground level. I thought I wouldn't like it, but it turned out to be great. Since the weather was iffy part of my trip, I wasn't really using the pool and the hot tub at the same time -- if it was warm I was at the pool, if it was cooler and cloudy I was in the hot tub. So no worries there!! The home is quiet, well-separated from the neighbors. Even though it's right on Duck Road, it's set far enough back on the large lot that vehicle noise isn't really an issue. I did hear emergency vehicles and garbage trucks, but not regular traffic. The house is an easy walk to the beach at the 2nd street access -- about a 10 minute walk. It's a much longer walk to downtown Duck -- close to an hour -- but I made one round trip anyway. On a bike it would be a much more pleasant trip! My only minor complaint is one that I've had with other OBX rental properties. The bedrooms are never dark enough for sleeping in! The windows (which are typically nice and big) usually have thin curtains, or in the case of this house, nice wooden blinds but with a big gap in the middle. Doesn't anyone else sleep in on vacation? :D I rigged up a blanket over the largest window in the primary bedroom, and that covered most of the gap between the blinds. I highly recommend Flip Flop Inn -- it's a great house in a really good location, and the owners have done a lot to make it a really comfortable space. Five stars, all the way.

Flip Flop Inn My family and I enjoyed an amazing week at the Flip Flop Inn. The house is large and roomie and supplies all the amenities from the hot tub to the swimming pool to its close proximity to the beach. I would highly recommend the Flip Flop Inn.

Flipflopinn Very nice house. Owners have obviously continued updating this house. Fantastic master bedroom suite. Pool and hot tub well maintained. Ample parking 6+ vehicles. Beach passes furnished. Handicap access available at 4.5 mile marker in Kitty Hawk with showers and bath house. Ample parking 50+ spots. Very short drive. This is 1 or 2 most enjoyable house rented from Corolla to Nags Head. Resort realty has never let us down ,their houses have all been fantastic. Best realty company we have used. Flipflopin is a 5 star property. Rented 8/17-8/24 at end of season and was very clean. Price very reasonable.

Beach time We enjoyed our time at the beach and the rental had everything we might have needed.It was very well equipped and spacious.

Beautiful home and wonderful location! This home was amazing! Beautiful home in a peaceful setting. The home not only has every thing you could possibly need and more, but the owner took the time to label everything. It was wonderful!! I don't think I've ever stayed in a rental so clean and welcoming! We very much appreciated the home having a high chair, booster seat, and baby gates!! We used it all for our granddaughter! Thank you!! We would love to come back!

Best by far! we have been vacationing in the Outer Banks for over 30 years and this house is by far our favorite. Has everything we need and more. Beautiful/tranquil location too.

Happy with our Outer Banks vacation! We enjoyed our Outer Banks vacation very much. The property we stayed at was perfect for us, it was clean and quiet, and check in/checkout was a breeze. Highly recommend!

Great location! While on the "main" road, there were enough ways to get around (e.g. bike trail or side roads) to avoid the traffic, even on Check In/Check Out Days. House was well suited for our needs. Only critique is there were a few critters (ants and palmetto bugs) but anyone who has ever lived down south knows this is kind part of the price you pay for living in paradise. Would totally rent again.

Wonderful Stay! We had a wonderful time at Flip Flop Inn. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for our meals. It is quite a walk to the beach but that was ok with us. Our vacation was awesome in the OBX as usual and hope to visit again in the future.

Flip Flop Inn Comfortable, clean and well kept. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. We enjoyed the open floor plan with the two main floor decks. The location is close to the beach , shopping and fine restaurants. The only drawback for some would be the the number of steps to climb when you enter or depart.

Beautiful, discreet & relaxing!!! Very spacious, clean and relaxing. Loved the attention put into the home to make guests comfortable. Hot tub was relating at night with all lights out great 🌟 gazing. Overall me and my spouse loved it. Thank you for your hospitality.
