Great Help from Scott I hda the pleasure of Scott the repair technician come to the house and was able to fix all the problems quickly and professionally. I also ran into Scott at my sister in laws house in Duck and he repaired her ice maker and a few other items and she was very happy with his service also.

OBX 2026 Overall the house was great, clean great location, easy access to the beach and every one had their own private bath. Had a lake right beside it which the grandkids loved to fish and feed the turtles. The only bad thing I can say was that the basketball goal was broken. Would recommend to anyone with a big family we loved it!!

Family Vacation We have stayed in this house before. The size and layout of the house is perfect for our family. We also like the location. Pool, hot tub, and pond are also a plus. The parking passes are also handy. A few things that need to be fixed: tv in bunk bed room did not work, broken leg on dresser in bedroom top floor. Will definitely rent again.

Absolute Gem!! Everyone in our group stated they didn't think I could of found a better house. There was something for every age group, there is a play pen in one of this closets, a high chair for our 8 month old grandbaby. A pool, heated hot tub and a storage closet that had some baby floats. A basketball goal and basketball was in closet on bottom floor, perfect for our young teen and young adults. Not to mention the Pool table (game room) with refrigerator. Hammocks & chairs on the decks. Elevator for my dad who has difficulty walking. Two coffee makers, two toasters, two ovens, two dish washers perfect for fixing meals with our group of 14!! Oh and the lake right out back has lots of fish, Bass, Crappie & I think the other was a blue fin. Lots of turtles to see & feed. There is a small charcoal grill and a gas grill. We got a beach wheelchair from the Southern Shores fire department. House is only a block from the beach!! There is a smaller eating table with a glass top that has a place to put your seashell with your family names on it too!! I just can't say enough wonderful things, just fantastic!!!! Exceeded my expectations and that's not easy to do :)

Beach Wheelchair for my dad from Southern Shores Fire Dept. was the best! We lost my mom in July to the dirty "C" only a month after finding out she had it. She had wanted the family to go to the beach...We took her with us in our hearts. OBX where we went to when I was a child and what better way to remember than flying kites in the sky with the family who loves & misses her. We appreciated talking to an actual person in messages instead of just computer generated messages!

Another Great Time in OBX This was our 2nd straight year at this property, so we obviouly like it. Resort Realty was as efficient as ever. The house fit our group of 11 perfectly. Plenty of private space as well as common group space. The amenities are bountiful; elevator, pool, game room, plenty of parking, two refridgerators, two ovens, two dishwashers etc... There is some general wear and tear on the home that needs some attention; power washing and painting the back of the house near the upper deck, the grill needs replacing and the refrigerator sounds like its going to blast off (but functions). Other than that, it is a well kept vacation property near the beach and on a private and quiet street. If we go back next year, we'll surely book this property.

Great Week at Prescription OBX Our entire experience was wonderful. This was our 3rd time in 4 years in OBX and both the property and Resort Realty provided a great week. Resort Realty was responsive and friendly in a few mid-week requests we made. They sent someone within a few hours of our requests! The home is big and spacious and easily handled our group of 11 adults. The proximity to the beach along with the private street made for a relaxing week. The house is well-equipped with double dishwashers and ovens along with a fair amount of kitchen utensils. It could use some small amenities like pot holders, better baking sheets and trivets to protect the tables from hot items. The Roku TV system is definitely not a plus. The elevator, outdoor shower and powder room, pool and rec room (pool table) just enhanced our enjoyment even more. We would highly recommend this property and Resort Realty.

Beautiful location The house is down a very cute dead end street, the walk to the beach is not bad. The pool is amazing. There were a few cosmetic things like some paint chips on the walls and cupboards, but nothing major. The pond out back was very cute, the turtles were adorable. Overall a beautiful place, and clean. Just wish early check in was available.

Excellent We came down for a quick 3 night stay to celebrate my baby brother turning 60. The house was amazing, plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy our short stay. By the way, thank you to the owner for allowing short stays. This was by far the largest house we have ever stayed in when traveling to the outer banks and our first time of staying in Southern Shores. We enjoyed the house, the area and the great weather immensely. Cannot forget to mention, that working with Resort Realty and the great people there was a breeze. You have a great team!

Thoughts I will have to say that I have stayed in a better house. For the amount of money I paid there could be better pots and pans/cookie sheets provided. They were burnt and rusted! Had to cover them with foil before using. But there were plenty of dishes, cups and glasses. And silverware.

Great family vacation The house was just as advertised, very clean and comfortable. We had a four generation get-together, four couples with three small children and a great-grandmother who uses a walker, so the elevator was a plus. Plenty of room for everyone to sit around the table to eat together, and the second floor living area allowed the adults to spread out when they wanted to. The pool was a great hit with everyone and the children enjoyed the turtles in the pond.

Great Family Cottage My family loved this property. All adults had wonderful privacy with spacious bedrooms and bath. Living and dining areas were spacious and comfortable for a large family group of different ages.

Enjoyed By All Our entire group enjoyed our stay at Prescription OBX. It is difficult to search for a rental online; you don't always get what you see, but we got exactly what we saw. We loved the house and the location. There was plenty of room for all the family and plenty of entertainment for all. The grandkids loved the pool and the turtles in the pond; they actually fished and caught some small ones that they threw back. Really liked the large great room and eating area which worked great with our large group. The game room and extra refrigerator was also a plus. Also liked the various color schemes of the bedrooms. Only suggestions we have are an ice maker; need lots of ice to fill coolers for beach and also a keurig coffee maker would have been nice. We definitely would recommend this rental and would definitely use it again.

Loved The Amenities We really loved the new hammocks. Also, we got a lot of use out of the high-chair, as well as the wooden gates. The volleyball and tennis courts were awesome and very well kept, and we used the little green coolers a lot. We weren't sure if they were complimentary and we could take them home, so we left them at the rental. It would be nice to have a rocking chair somewhere in the rental for parents or nursing moms with small children. The pool and hot tub are very nice.
