Good Nice layout; house has everything you need; exterior amenities are fantastic; peaceful. Furniture could use updating, especially mattresses, chairs, and couch. A bit of road noise given proximity to 12. A nice stay overall and easy walk to the beach!
We loved this home, it fit our needs perfectly. 5 min walk to the beach and just a mile from the town of Duck. It was clean with a very well stocked kitchen. The responsiveness from Resort Realty was excellent. We would stay here again.
Excellent We had great weather - so beach time was plentiful! The house looked great! We loved the updated kitchen and bathrooms. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, outdoor shower, pool, and all the space. We dined at a few restaurants, cracked crabs on the spacious deck, and enjoyed the local foods-bbq, Duck Donuts, and a lot of ice cream. There is great, safe walking/running areas and a pickleball court to make all the 'vacation eating' feel a little less guilty! We'll be back!
We loved our stay at Villa Al Mare! We always get a little nervous when we first walk into a rental because sometimes pictures are deceiving. We loved Villa Al Mare as soon as we walked in. It was much more spacious than what we thought. There was a group of 10 of us and we had plenty of room without feeling in each other’s way. The pool was also a perfect size. We have rented other places in the past with pools that ended up being so tiny. This pool was big enough for the kids to play around in & the adults to float and relax. The bedrooms were all spacious and beds were comfortable. The kitchen & living room area was also very spacious and the kitchen came equipped with everything we needed for the week. It even had a small crockpot! We absolutely LOVED the ice fridge! That was definitely a favorite for all of us and after having one we said an ice fridge is a new “must have” in future rentals. The location was good, easy walk to the beach & it felt very private even though there are houses around you. We had deer visiting us every day. They would be in the driveway or out on the other side of the fence when we were relaxing at the pool. The kids loved seeing them. I highly recommend Villa Al Mare. We had a wonderful week staying here.
