Great Stay We had a wonderful time staying here for the second time! We enjoyed the updates to the unit, especially the floor and new decor. With that being said, there were a few minor inconveniences that prevented this year from being a five-star experience. We had difficulty with the numerous tv remotes, which required us to use our own batteries in order for them to operate. It would be beneficial for those to be on the checklist to be changed out every so often. We don't typically travel to the beach to spend a lot of time in front of screens; however, during rainy days and late evenings it is a nice amenity. We were VERY disappointed to see that the cable service was removed and we could not even get some of the TVs to turn on. One of our sliding doors was damaged and 2 of them are difficult to operate. The fact that they need operating instructions is an indication that they could be more simplified. We have no complaints on the cleanliness and overall housekeeping of the unit upon arrival. The check-in and check-out process is seamless and without hassle. We would consider staying here again if the issues mentioned could be resolved.

Was Perfect for our Vacation We absolutely loved this townhouse! It was in a great location and was the best stocked of any place I had ever been! The full kitchen had everything you could need to cook and stay! They had tons of extra blankets and pillows! We waaay over packed our beach items thanks to the stocked closet of beach items. They had chairs, kites, sand toys, nets flashlights, water guns... you name it they had it! As a mom I also appreciated having a full size washer and dryer available! We lived having thr three balconies to sit depending on the sun. Our only down side to the place was the couch had various visible stains. We did keep a blanket over the couch when sitting just because of the various stains. Also the outside shower needs new tiles. We stepped in not watching the first time and a metal spike almost broke the skin on my foot. It could be very dangerous for children. It was missing so many tiles it was just safer to stan outside and rinse off. I would definitely recommend this place or stay there again!

Great vacation spot ! So happy to stay here. Very comfortable vacation spot. Close to beach and close to the sweet town of Duck. This place had everything we needed. The owners thought of everything!

Very Good Would only suggest a starter kit for the kitchen with towels, paper towel and a couple of dishwasher pods. Not a big deal, always nice to feel like a welcome package is on the counter. The online check out is so easy and appreciate that option as we leave very early. We had the water heater leak on 5/22. Maintenance took care of it right away and was very helpful. Thank you!

Wonderful week in Duck! We had an amazing stay in Duck last week. The weather was perfect and the location of B&E by the Sea was excellent. Just a short drive or walk into the shopping areas of Duck and a short ride to other sites like the Wright Brothers Memorial. The beach equipment available was wonderful. The path to the beach was a short walk away and so convenient. Loved it!!

Thanks so much for letting us stay at your lovely property. “B & E by the Sea” is by far the best rental in Duck! We look forward to coming back next year.

Greetings from Falls Church! We enjoyed our stay here and the home was lovely. The decorations were amazing and the walkability was great! This was our first time coming to the Outer Banks, and this stay makes us want to come again! We loved going to the beach and saw different types of fish and jellyfish in the water. We have enjoyed our stay here at your “B & E by the Sea”. You have a wonderful home. We have stayed here at Georgetown Sands with our family in several different townhouses since 1995. Your townhouse is our favorite. It is so nice. We look forward to staying here next year.

We enjoyed a wonderful two week stay at “B & E by the Sea”. Our weather was absolutely wonderful and we enjoyed our daily walks on the beach and also reading time with the waves crashing near --- blissful!! We enjoyed your well stocked home and plentiful outside seating with quality chairs – much appreciated! We have stayed in Georgetown Sands many times since 1989. We love the pool too! We enjoyed dinners at The Colington Café, Kill Devil Grill, Village table & Tavern, Tortuga's Lie and The Shipwreck(best hush puppies ever), Duck Donuts & Tullio's bakery for sweet treats. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Back For Another Wonderful Stay! We're glad to be back for another wonderful stay at “B & E by the Sea”… 2 weeks of total bliss! We love this cute townhouse and location. We will take care of your gem as if it is was ours. We're heading to the beach ASAP and can't wait to walk barefoot on the beach and feel sand between our toes.

Best One Yet Beautifully decorated. Lots of kitchen supplies and the storage area is loaded with beach stuff, chairs, boards, etc. We have stayed at Georgetown Sands for several years and this is the best one yet.

Great Family Retreat This was our first visit to the Outer Banks and we loved Duck. What we loved just as much as the town was B&E by the Sea. This townhouse is wonderfully kept and perfectly located, especially for our family. While we could see the ocean from the house, it was a short walk to the beach. This was great as we could let our 5 year old play in the grass by the house without worrying about a rogue wave washing him away. Similarly, the community pool, with a wonderful shade tree, was a short walk away, but far enough away that we did not worry about our little one sneaking off for a swim without us. As for the quaint Town of Duck, NC., this is such a neat town that is exactly what I thought the Outer Banks would be about. To my disappointment, Nags Head felt much more industrialized when we visited on a day trip. It is only 30 minutes away and there are more restaurants there, but the peace and tranquility of Duck is what we enjoyed. We rented bikes and had fun and easy rides into town to have a Duck Donut, ice cream, or just walk the great boardwalk on the sound. When hanging out at the house, because its in a townhome community, there were other families for my kids to befriend and play with. Everything worked in the house and it was well-stocked with toys for the beach. The charcoal BBQ is closest to this townhome and the beds were very comfortable. The washer/dryer allowed us to save space in our car by packing lightly and just washing our clothes mid-trip. The premium cable gave us a stay-in entertainment option when we were tired from the long day at the beach (I was surprised with all the free on-demand choices in each room). The house was clean and very-well maintained. I simply cannot say enough great things about this house and hope that all your guests will enjoy it as much as ours did. We are already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you Bill and Evelyn for keeping such a nice property and for the small gift you had for us on our arrival. We Had A Great Time We had a great time seeing what the Outer Banks has to offer! We really enjoyed the spice and tea exchange, where we saw homemade spices being made and bought a LOT of stuff. The Kill Devil rum distillery in Manteo had a great tour, with an even better tasting at the end! We also loved the aquarium in Manteo. The new renovations really added to the experience. The beach here is beautiful and we enjoyed checking out the crab burrows. Thank you so much for your hospitality, we very much appreciate it!

Perfect For Our Family! This is the 2nd time we stayed at Georgetown Sands. This home was perfect for our family! The best part of the week was the fellowship we shared. God blessed us with sunny days, warm weather, and choppy waves. We love coming to the Outer Banks for Vacation and we loved staying at this home.

Although weather predictions initially were not great, the week turned out just the opposite! you never know at the beach. We met a lot of nice people on the beach and even landed a 22" black drum fishing from the surf. We had good dining experiences at Red Sky and Cravings in Duck. Gorgeous property! Had a chance to preview before the season starts. Beautiful condo in a great location - convenient access to the beach and town. Can't wait to stay during the summer!
