Kelly's place is one of my new favorites! Her home is cozy and comfortable, nestled deep in the woods, and plenty of room for 5 people and a dog to spread out and relax. The property is breathtakingly beautiful (especially now, October in Vermont) and extremely well-stocked with games, books, puzzles, and any kitchen utensil you could possibly need. My teenage niece was blown away by the stars at night while roasting marshmallows by the fire pit. Kelly herself was very welcoming, warm, and friendly and made us feel right at home. We hated to leave, but hope to come back again and explore more of the trails. Bentley's Bakery nearby has one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Highly recommend this Airbnb, especially for a nature recharge.

What an amazing home to enjoy this beautiful part of Vermont in. Quiet, unique, and very comfortable with massive kitchen windows that invited you to linger and blurred the lines between indoor and out. The grounds were magnificent. Kelly and her team were perfect to work with, responsive, kind and considerate. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay

A lovely property, very rustic, close to all the places we wanted to be. House was clean...however, the evening of arrival, it was discovered that there was a stain on the duvet cover (blood) which fortunately washed out. As well, when attempting to use the outdoor grill, we found it to be filthy, as the prior tenants had not attempted to clean it at all. Fortunately, the stove had a grill which we used to cook the burgers. Other than that, the grandsons enjoyed all the games and the large tv, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was very well appointed...so we had a great time! Just a couple of disappointments at the beginning.

the house itself was great / as described but the overall experience represented everything that i hate about what airbnb has become: a wealthy homeowner who outsources their hosting to a global real estate investment firm with no connection to the area. they also implied a certain level of surveillance in and around the property that made all of us super uncomfortable. the check out was really inhuman / inflexible and the communications felt legitimately like interacting with a robot. i was convinced the whole hosting experience was ai. super bummer.

Property was as advertised. Beautiful secluded spot. Plenty of privacy for a larger group. Beautiful landscaping. Workable kitchen and lots of living space. Lots of steps may not be suitable for someone with mobility issues. Occasional oversight by owner/management company would put “the icing on the cake”.

We loved Kelly’s place! Our family of 6 plus dog had a wonderful week. Beautiful and peaceful house, and in a great location. Kelly was extremely helpful, kind, and offered great recommendations. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful location and house. Peaceful, quiet, private. Perfect place to unplug from the rat-race and enjoy the slower pace of rural Vermont. Our second stay, and definitely not our last.

Kelly was a wonderful host and we had a lovely weekend at her home in Danville for our son’s high school graduation at St. Johnsbury Academy. The house was beautiful, peaceful and clean! Kelly was very responsive and the house was well appointed with all the things we needed!

Our family of five (me, my husband, our two adult children and our 13 yo son) and our dog stayed here for a weekend. We came to attend the Golden Jubilee in St. Johnsbury to celebrate golden retrievers! Upon arrival to the house, we first noticed the beautiful yard with the cascading waterfall right next to the property. The grounds were amazing and private allowing our dog to run and play and giving us a perfect place to enjoy the solitude and natural beauty surrounding the property. The house was a wonderful mix of retro style and modern amenities with it's exposed beams, wood floors and cozy wood stove. There was plenty of space for all of us with places to gather as a family and several nooks that provided quiet spaces. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay and the entire home was immaculate! The host, Kelly, was very kind and responsive. It was a really easy check in and check out process. We will definitely stay here again and hope to make this trip an annual event!

This place worked great for our family ski trip. Our kids loved the available toys, the games, and the space. They played in the snow on the front yard and loves looking at the waterfall each time we came out of the house. My wife and I were very comfortable and appreciated that the master bedrooms are separated from the other bedrooms. We chose this location because it was fairly central to the mountains we skied. It was mud season, so we got a full taste of that and were appreciative of the r commendation for our vehicle to have AWD/4WD capability. I would t commend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, secluded getaway.

We had a great stay at this property. The space had a warm, open feel that made it easy to relax right away, and the sound of the creek in front of the property added a really peaceful touch to the whole experience. It’s a very quiet and peaceful property overall, perfect for unwinding. Even though there is a deep drive to the house, there is plenty of space for large families. The rooms are spacious, and the home has a warm feel with lots of natural light throughout. There were also plenty of family games to keep the young ones entertained, which was a nice bonus during downtime. We did experience a small roof leak during our stay, but the host handled it quickly and professionally. They arranged for someone to come assess and fix the issue right away, with consistent communication and follow-up, which we really appreciated. The host was also very accommodating and flexible, even offering us the option to extend our stay—another big plus. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable expe

Kelly’s home was just right for a group of 6 adults. For those who have littles, there are many games and fun books as well. Her home felt like a labyrinth in a good way - many small rooms and interesting spaces for reading a book or enjoying a quiet moment. The beds were comfortably appointed with clean linens. The massive TV on the main level was great for a group movie. We especially enjoyed the fireplaces after a long day on the slopes. You do need AWD/4WD when there is snow on the ground, but we were well prepared. We appreciate Kelly hosting us and would gladly return.

Very spacious home, big dinning room table for large groups. Kitchen holds everything you’ll need, and the fire places are nice and warm. Our group enjoyed their stay.

Kelly was an excellent host, super responsive and helpful and her house was a perfect winter getaway for a small family gathering. What a beautiful setting, comfy beds, stocked kitchen, really everything we wanted and more. We had a blast playing games, cooking and getting cozy in the front room with the wood stove. Would love to stay again!

Nous avons adoré l’endroit et nous nous y sommes sentis très bien tout au long de la fin de semaine. You couldn't ask for a better host than Kelly. She was wonderful: very responsive, very accommodating, very friendly! Our stay was enjoyable, there was plenty of room for our party of 8 and pet to spread out or come together. Kelly's place is a blend of cabin cozy comfort and modern open concept. So easy to relax and enjoy whichever vibe you're in the mood for. The 2nd bathroom upstairs and kitchen is smaller than expected but certainly not a problem. I loved the tranquility of the outdoor space! When you arrive, you'll hear the running water of the waterfall. So inviting! We reached out to Kelly several times during our stay and she reliable responded warmly and quickly. Thank you for an enjoyable stay Kelly!

This house is so cozy and peaceful. The dual wood-burning fireplaces create the most relaxing environment, while the big TV and spacious couch in the living room allow for plenty of space to hang out. This is a great house for a family looking for a home away from home - surrounded by nature and a 5 minute drive to a classic Vermont village. We can’t wait to come again!

My girlfriend and I loved this place it had us talking about what it would be like to live there permanently. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was great. The home is so beautiful, private, and cozy and had everything we needed. We didn’t have many questions during our stay, but the ones we did Kelly was very quick and responsive and helped us with everything we needed. This is a 10/10 place and we would absolutely stay again and bring family along too. Thank you!

Wonderful home to be in. Peaceful and beautiful. The surroundings were gorgeous in early October. I slept like a dream, did some yoga in the room off the kitchen with the wood stove, and worked outside in the sunshine at the garden table. Wonderful place to be!

This place is wonderful, very private with lots of land around the house. The house itself is charming and very comfortable. We felt right at home. Would definitely go again!
