This home was 5 stars all around Between the quick responses from the host, clear instructions, and the immaculate home, I'd recommend staying here a hundred times over. The house has everything you need and then some to enjoy your stay with ease. The location in proximity to both the beach access and the town of Duck are both reasonable and doable, even with small kids in tow. This home is right next to the community center which offers a tennis court, indoor/outdoor pool, fitness center, and playground. We loved that the pool on the property had a tall wooden fence and the property was surrounded by trees to offer extra privacy. The house was also well stocked with books, games, puzzles, and lots of entertainment.

Good but not great While the house seems amazing online, the actual house is a little lacking. Pans and dishes were very okay…While we did everything we could to sleep sound, the mattresses were a bit lack luster. The views and pool are amazing, beach access and amenities are second to none. Kitchen and bathrooms could use a refresh. Bottom bathroom/bedroom are rotted out the bottom of cabinets and could use an update. Other than a few inconveniences would recommend.

Excellent We'll be back as it had everything the family needed for a great vacation. Pool, beach, and was a great location (parked the car for the week and walked to everything!)

An amazing Home for a Big Family! Our family had an amazing stay at Carolina Escape! The house had every amenity we could have asked for, making our trip comfortable and stress-free. The layout was perfect for our large family, with plenty of space for everyone while still being ideal for those traveling with small children.<br /> <br /> Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained, and the short walk to the beach made it easy to enjoy the ocean whenever we wanted. The pool area was another highlight, it was beautiful, relaxing, and quickly became a favorite gathering spot for us.<br /> <br /> One of our favorite things about Carolina Escape was its location. It was an easy bike ride to nearby shops and local favorites like Coastal Cravings, making it simple to grab snacks, listen to live music, enjoy ice cream, or explore the charming town of Duck without needing to drive.<br /> <br /> Carolina Escape truly had everything we needed for a memorable family vacation. We made wonderful family memories and would absolutely stay here again. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect Duck getaway!

Carolina Escape We have rented Carolina Escape for several years. It has been our home away from home. We enjoy the location--close to the beach and Duck Road.The beautiful pool is always a highlight. Resort Realty is professional and responds to any maintenance requests in a timely manner. We look forward to renting this property again.

Great place for a couple of dads taking their kids to explore the OBX. Plenty of rooms and 3rd floor kitchens living area with massive desks on all floors

Very Good We recently stayed at Carolina Escape. We found the house to be extremely spacious. Overall the house was very clean. There were modern appliances in the kitchen. The private pool was a great size. The walk to the beach and downtown Duck were manageable. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Duck.

Carolina Escape Our family has rented Carolina Escape for several years. The location is perfect--close to the clubhouse,tennis courts,Duck Road and,of course, the beach.The house is spacious with a beautiful pool.Some updates are always welcome. We plan to return next year and look forward to our stay there. Resort Realty responds promptly to any maintenance requests we may have.

Excellent We have stayed at Carolina Escape for several years. We love the layout of the house, and the location to the beach, clubhouse, tennis courts, and Duck Road is perfect. Having a very nice pool at the house is a huge plus. Every year we return and look forward to seeing updates and improvements in the house as we think of Carolina Escape as our home away from home.

Amazing Vacation Carolina Escape was very comfortable for our extended family of 10. The location was convenient to the beach and stores. The small beach cart made it easy to transport our chairs and toys as we walked to the beach . We also enjoyed the private pool and hot tub. The kitchen was well-equipped, with dishes and seating for everyone. The Schooner Ridge community was quiet and well-maintained. The beach was beautiful. We had a wonderful week.

Great Location, Great House We have been renting this house for several years. The bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy, the common area is large and accommodates our big family. The pool is wonderful. We use the clubhouse which is right next door. It is a great place to spend vacation time. Our only suggestion is the need for some updating, especially appliances. We thank the owners for making this house a part of our family memories.

Great! Carolina Escape was a great fit for our family. Some of the mattresses weren&rsquo;t that comfortable, and the house could use some updating (old/dirty carpets), but for the price it offered a lot of space and amenities! Being next to the community center was very convenient for our group, and the pool was awesome!

Great Location We enjoyed this house very much. The location to town was perfect we could walk to see the sunrise or the sunset. The extra game table in living room was perfect for puzzles and games. We can't wait for our next OBX trip

August 2022 This vacation home was everything as advertised. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Great home for families It is a great layout for multiple families. Renting a beach cart was really helpful to haul our beach equipment on the walk down to the ocean. The home has a red wagon to tow kids in, which was great! Just minutes to walk to the boardwalk one way, right beside the Club house, and walk to the beach the other way! You really would never need to get in your car the whole time if you didn't want to!

Carolina Escape is a beautiful home that fit the needs of our entire family. The extra amenities of the pools especially at the beach was great.
