Excellent Very clean and well kept. Excellent location.

Beautiful house and yard....but the smoke detectors kept going off during the night House is very nice with beautiful landscaping and a short walk to the beach. The only reason we did not give a higher rating is because the smoke detectors would go off during the night. After showers, they would beep and for some reason, the one in the king master suite on the ground level would beep intermittently during the night. To reset it, the smoke detectors in the whole house would go off. There were many times when they would alarm the whole house without any apparent reason.....and this only happened during the middle of the night and several times each night. Upon leaving yesterday, we call Resort Realty and let them know, so hopefully, the next guest can have restful nights. There was something wrong with the coffee pot as well. When making coffee, some would drip into the pot, but a lot of coffee would also end up on the counter. We couldn't figure out where it was coming from, but we also reported this when we left. Hopefully, both of these issues will be resolved prior to the next guest. We would rate this as excellent, if not for the above-mentioned issue. House has all you need for the week....including lots of spices, which we also contributed to when we left.

First Time In a Pet Friendly House - Love, Love, Love. The house was amazing. We have stayed in many houses in Duck and Corolla over the years. This is our first stay at a pet friendly place, since our adult son has dogs and wanted to bring them. We were worried about smell and the condition of the house, but it far exceeded all of our expectations. It was clean and smell-free. The layout of the house was perfect. We would stay again even without pets! Top floor had a huge dining table that the seven of us could use for home meals. The beds were very comfortable, with the exception of the bunk room, which was just okay. We had brought a topper which made a huge difference in that bed. Everyone sleep great all week. The pool table was a really fun addition that got use during our stay. The outdoor areas were exceptional. The back of the house has three full deck levels with lots of really nice outdoor furniture, so you could get sun or shade whenever you wanted it. The salt water pool and hot tub area was also really wonderful with lots of high quality outdoor furniture. The hot tub was a four-seater and felt great. You can control the temperature - to access all four sets of jets you need to depress the JETS and AUX buttons (took us a minute to figure that out). The yard is not fenced in for dogs, which was a bummer, but there is plenty of grass around and behind the fenced pool area. Also, pets are not allowed in the fenced pool area, which we completely understood. It is too hot for dogs out there anyway. We used some of the baby gates to fence in the covered patio area so the dogs could be outside while we were in the pool. The grill is a big really nice Weber. The igniter didn’t work on it so bring a long-neck lighter. The kitchen was great. Nice gas stove and microwave. There was plenty of nice kitchen ware and silverware. The pots and pans were not the greatest, heavily scratched and probably unsafe. They could use some updating. The owners leave the pantry unlocked with all the spices you would ever need, which was a really nice touch. No other house we’ve stayed at had that available. They also left a gift bag with trash bags to last all week! And some cups/bottles, nice shave bag, hand soap, etc. We stayed in mid-June 2026. It’s a short walk down to the private beach. The beach area is just what you’d want. We went mid-June so the water was ice cold and refreshing. Waves ranged from very calm to rough through the week, so a nice mix to please everyone. Note to owners: Thank you. We had a wonderful week. We could see the love that you’ve put into your house and effort you’ve made to make all your guests comfortable. Thanks again for the gift bag and goodies. We also loved all the pics of your fur babies too. Great job! Note to Resort Realty: We love staying with you. You're the best! Thanks for another wonderful vacation stay. We loved the gift bag stuff :)

We absolutely loved our stay! Perfect location, peaceful, and very clean. Had everything we needed and plus some. Communication was perfection during our stay and the host went above and beyond to accommodate us. We would definitely recommend and stay here again!

House was well furnished. We enjoyed the pool and billiards.

We loved the house and it was the perfect location! The house felt very clean and well cared for. Loved our stay!! The furnishings and appliances were great quality and stylish. The landscaping was beautiful. The pool area was clean and felt very private. We’ve stayed in OBX beach houses for many summer visits and this was the best house we’ve rented. Walking to the beach or the Duck shops was very easy, we walked to the coffee shop nearly every day of our visit. I didn’t need to communicate with the host for anything but I appreciated their proactive messages about check in and check out information.

Relaxing stay at the beach! We had a wonderful stay at Seaducktion! The home was spotless and beautifully maintained, with gorgeous landscaping that made it feel like a private retreat. As parents, we especially appreciated how thoughtfully stocked it was with baby gear, games, and books- everything we needed to keep our little ones happy and entertained. The kitchen was fantastic, with every accessory you could imagine and a huge variety of spices, which made cooking so easy and enjoyable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach, and we loved having both the pool and hot tub right at the house for relaxing afternoons and evenings. This home truly had everything we could ask for and more.

Amazing House House was fully stocked with everything we needed. Very clean and looks as if it was recently renovated. Pool was great and a short walk to the beach! We would stay here again.

Nicest House in Duck My family and I have stayed in duck many times, but this house was by far the nicest. In addition to the kitchen having all the cookware utensils and dishes that you could possibly need there was saran wrap in baggies and spices which I’ve never found at another rental. The house in the yard were absolutely beautiful. That yard is a literal paradise! Another great bonus is the house is about halfway between the beach and the main road making both locations super walkable. The shopping center that’s across the street has everything that you could possibly need. We are already planning to stay there again next year!

Great house House was extremely comfortable and well stocked- pool and hot tub were also great! Easy walk to the beach- all around great experience. Would definlty consider renting again!

Another great year in Duck House is very well equipped, very clean and well maintained. It’s our second year staying here and we love it.

Excellent Home Away From Home We have stayed at many beach vacation homes through the years and this was a wonderful choice! Very clean. Very well equipped. And a fantastic location! Our favorite place in the Outer Banks!

What a great house! The home was beautiful, the landscaping was beautiful. Loved the pool. Nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked. Loved the frig so much, I'm getting one😊 The bedrooms were nice size. It was just the two of us so only needed one bedroom. We choose the mid level king master. A great room but the bed wasn't comfortable. One side of the mattress felt like there was a hole in it. Should be replaced. We moved up to the top level queen and slept well. The decks were awesome with lots of seating. Everthing was in good shape. The owners obviously take great pride in their home. They did a great job with every aspect of the home. Short walk or ride, to the beach. One thing that we noticed is that there is only one return vent per floor. None in the bedrooms. The bedrooms become warm if the door is closed. Not an issue with just us in the house. I would definitely rent this home again.

Excellent The house and property are gorgeous and well maintained, it has everything one needs for a wonderful and relaxing vacation. Lots of little extras with this house, from pool floats, beach chairs, tons of board games and books, kitchen spices, plastic wrap, foil, sandwich bags, etc., The Beach is within walking distance (0.20 of a mile)!

Best House in Duck Whatever you are looking for this is it. We have stayed at many places in Duck and Corolla and this house is the best. Super clean, zero bugs, well appointed (is an understatement), and close to everything. Love it!

Excellent The house was in very good condition. All the outdoor furniture that was shown in the pictures was there when we arrived and in good condition. The landscaping was beautiful. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the propane grill was easy to use. We’ve been renting in duck for almost 20 years and this was by far the nicest home we’ve rented.

BOOK THIS HOUSE! We have been coming to OBX for so many years I have lost count. We have booked many different houses with many different realtors and almost every time have had maintenance issues as well as issues with cleanliness on check in. It has sadly become used to cleaning our home ourselves upon checkin... Just overall we were feeling like the rentals homes were in a constant state of filth and disrepair (with broken appliances, decks that need replacing, pools that need to be resurfaced, furniture that needs a refresh).... Needless to say it would take a lot to impress myself and my family in this way. Although it has never stopped us from returning bc we love our vacations there so much...we just are always on the hunt for the perfect house! This house literally knocked our socks off from the moment we pulled up to it and it only got better once we walked in. From the outside from the moment you pull up you see a BEAUTIFULLY manicured yard. We always bring our dogs with us so being able to USE the yard is AMAZING. We have booked many of a vacation home that shows a nice yard but when you pull up you get an overgrown yard with weeds not something i want my dog walking through. Second, the salt water pool (so cool!) was the cleanest pool we have ever encountered in any of our stays. The house LOOKS well maintained from the outside. The decks are GORGEOUS-all trex decking with a GATE AT EVERY LEVEL. We have 3 SMALL children with us all under the age of 5 so having that was AMAZING for EXTRA added safety and no need to worry about splinters in tiny feet. The shower was clean and useable. There were plenty of pool beach toys, chairs, a beach cart etc. all in GOOD-EXCELLANT condition (unlike many other rentals that basically supply garbage which makes us bring our own). The pool area is separately gated from our house. This was important to us because the house we rented last year the pool / gated area was connected to slider off first floor which put me in a constant state of worry about the kids getting out and falling into pool. When you step inside the house you will find a FULLY STOCKED HOUSE. I have NEVER and I mean never known a rentals to have a huge selection of spices, garbage bags, ziplock bags, games, books (for adults and kids both), baby/kid toys/activities, a separate baby/dog gate for every level of the home. The furniture appears new and CLEAN- I usually feel a little skeeved by sitting on couches/ furniture in rental homes but not here. This furniture was newish and super CLEAN. I could just go on and on about what this amazing house offers it's renters but I think i'll leave some to surprise you when/ if you decide rent :). The appliances were all newish and in ALL WORKING ORDER! NO disgusting carpeting (no dog friendly house rlly should have carpeting in my opinion!) Everything was clean from the linens to the beds and matresses, the furniture and even the throw blanket on the couch smelled to be freshly laundered. It was beautifully decorated!! There were also pictures of the owners dogs all over the house. We did put them away in drawers during our stay so that my children didn't accidentally break them but it was VERY evident this house was owned and taken care of a sweet family who cherishes it! We always take great care of homes we stay in and take care by leaving them the way we found them but I cant help but think if more people feel compelled to do so when the house is so evidently loved by its family...might be setting a good tone for ALL its renters! Now, for the negative and there was only one MINOR negative. The top floor has a small bedroom and only a half bathroom up there. So, the family staying in the small (queen)bedroom on top floor has to truck downstairs to shower (to middle floor or bottom floor). I wish more than anything there was only a common half bathroom on the first floor (for people who are going in and out from the pool) and a full bath to be utilized by people staying on top floor. There is only one master bedroom (king) downstairs (on bottom floor) but two full bathrooms. Small negative but the benefits of this house FAR outweigh that minor detail. I wish to thank the owners for sharing their home with us and being so hospitable! Memories made there this past week will last a lifetime!

Great place to stay The owners take excellent care of this really nice house inside and out. It’s well maintained and kept up-to-date. The kitchen utensils, flatware, dishes and cookware is as decent as you could you could expect considering how guests treat it. Thumbs up on that. We’ve stayed here many times and we (and our pups) always enjoy ourselves. We don’t go to OBX every year but when we do we stay at SeaDucktion.

Love Seaduktion Joyful home in Duck, painted yellow and beautifully landscaped. Made us happy every time we pulled up. Five bedrooms, private fenced backyard pool and hot tub, 5-10 min walk to beach. It will upgrade your Duck vacation also.

Excellent This is a great house! Kitchen was well stocked, new appliances. The house plan flowed well. We loved the beautiful lawn and outdoor furniture. Pool was a nice size with convenience of hot tub close by. Great Webber gas grill for cooking. The air purification system was fantastic, especially with the COVID 19 pandemic. Not too far from the beach, would have liked to been a little closer to access, but we brought our golf cart and it was fine. We would definitely rent again.

Seaducktion We have stayed here several times over the past 10 years and once again we were not disappointed. The owners go out of their way to insure their guests have a memorable vacation. Unfortunately we have aged over the years and have decided the stairs are a bit too much for us to handle. Unfortunately we will have to search for another home as awesome as this but with an elevator

Fabulus We vacation in OBX every other year with our family and we were fortunate to be able to rent our favorite home. It is just perfect and I can't find anything negative to say about it so - just wonderful!

A woderful place to stay The house as well as the surroundings were just beautiful. Everything was well maintained and fully equipped. We truly had a wonderful week there.

Great Vacation Home We stayed at this Seaducktion in July 2015. We have been coming to OBX every year on vacation for the last 8 years and this is by far our favorite home. The house is very clean and tastefully decorated. The grounds outside are beautiful. The salt water pool was refreshing. Many of places to rest outside and take a nap. It was a short walk to the beach and Duck shops and restaurants. Unfortunately we cannot go to OBX this year due to a sporting event we are planning our vacation around, but we will definitely be booking here again next year.
