A great place to watch the monsoon storms with covered porches on both the east and west sides. It is walkable to the Sweetwater Preserve which offers hiking/biking trails that don't involve much elevation change (important for summer hiking).
Solid five stars, I would stay again.
Lovely home, super clean, comfortable beds, modern well equipped kitchen, great location, fabulous views. We hope to stay there next year.
Nice, spacious home. The view from the patio is beautiful and peaceful. It is close to the Sweetwater section of Saguaro National Park. Hosts were very responsive.
We had such a wonderful stay at this property! There are covered sitting areas both front and back so there are beautiful mountain views (Tortolitas in back, Catalinas in front) under shade or in sun any time of day. In addition to the 3 bedrooms, there were 2 living areas and an office so plenty of room for everyone to relax - the kitchen was great, the place was super clean and we had everything we needed. Was very nice to park in garage on hot days too! Very quiet other than sounds of many birds and occasionally coyotes, we saw a desert cottontail regularly and even a javelina once!
The setting provides unobstructed views of beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and the unique Tucson landscape. We had a delightful visit and would definitely return to this property on a future visit to Tucson.
Had. A great time with my family in Arizona. The house was in such a great location, beautiful views of sunrise and sunset!
My father and i enjoyed our stay at Jeff and Bridgets house. Beautiful views on the back porch as well as the front. I would stay there again!
We just loved our week at Jeff and Bridget’s. So cozy and just beautiful surroundings!
Incredible views! We loved being able to see two mountain ranges from the house, which made for some epic sunrise and sunset views. And the house was very spacious. We had a few small hiccups during our stay: we didn't receive the check-in instructions in advance, but thankfully the host was very responsive when we called upon our arrival and helped us get in quickly. The house was somewhat sparsely furnished (no chairs in the bedrooms, no coffee table in the living room, only half a box of tissues provided, many lamps were unplugged when we arrived). Though there were plenty of kitchen utensils, there were no cooking basics in the kitchen (salt & pepper, cooking oil, coffee, sugar, plastic bags, etc.). And the bedsheets were mostly polyester.
House is in a wonderful location. Quiet suburb in the foothills, with gorgeous views of the nearby Saguaro National Park west, and Tucson down in the valley below. Two nice porches so you can choose your sunrise or sunset views! Easy access to everything in Tucson. Great for morning walks or exploring the nearby desert wash and all the wildlife. We had javalinas run through the property every morning.
Inside is a very nice house. Kitchen has a great setup and they had fresh wood for a very nice fireplace. Views of the desert and saguaros from the master bedroom. Great showers. We did feel it was pretty spare on furniture, kitchen amenities and the walls are pretty plain, felt a bit more like a hotel than a home away from home. We ended up consolidating lamps and furniture into one room to make it feel more comfortable. But we had no complaints about the location and the views!
The views—especially the sunrises and sunsets—are just stunning! The house was clean and looked like the pictures. The inside isn't as spectacular as the outside, but it was more than adequate and we had a very pleasant stay. The house felt very private and the neighborhood was quiet. (Except for the Peahen that strutted and honked around the back yard one morning about 6am!)
We had some minor issues but nothing serious and the hosts were very responsive, even on Thanksgiving day. Would definitely stay here again!
Jeff and Bridget are excellent hosts. They thought of everything when creating a wonderful guest experience in this property. We enjoyed that this area was quiet, very well set up with all essentials, and an easy drive to several trails, parks, restaurants, and attractions. The views at the property were awesome. We enjoyed our stay very much, and highly recommend this property. Jeff and Bridget are the best.
