This was an amazing place to stay! The views from the decks were beautiful. We saw so many cool birds, turtles, dolphins and fish jumping each day. Very peaceful and quiet area. There was plenty of room for our entire family. We appreciated the crib, pack n play and other items for small children including a high chair and sound machine. The host was very responsive as well. I would recommend Island Life boat rentals for a pontoon rental. We took a pontoon out several days and did some fishing and exploring. We also took a fishing charter with Saltwater Hitman Cameron which was fun. The kitchen at the house was well stocked. Thanks again for a fun family vacation.
They acknowledged and addressed any need we had. The view is amazing. If you want to “rough it” or have a difficult vacation, look elsewhere.

Host is very attentive. House was beautiful and the views from the top can't be beat. I would say if you have teenagers then this house is perfect as the kids all stay downstairs and the master is upstairs. We cooked a full meal in the kitchen and it is very well stocked. We brought our own kayaks though there were kayaks there. We then brought our kayaks to Manatee springs area and kayaked the suwannee river as well.......
The quality of the accommodation and the peaceful location exceeded our expectations. The house was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We loved the fact that the living room, dining and kitchen were totally separate from the sleeping quarters and having a decorated Christmas tree was a real bonus and totally unexpected. The only small negative from our perspective was the exterior balustrading. While there were notices notices not to lean against it we had to be constantly aware of the kids movements so as not to have any mishaps while sitting outside. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and wished now that we had stayed longer.

Million dollar view!
Absolutely phenomenal views from the multiple decks and rooftop platform. We sat for hours watching the light change, tides flow in and out, and abundant intercostal wildlife. This Airbnb would deserve 5 Stars for its view alone. But the accommodations were clean, modern, comfortable, and well appointed. Just know the photos are only about 50 percent as great as experiencing the views in person. You will not be disappointed!

Nature preserve Fantastic property on the edge of a tidal salt flat. There were dolphins swimming right out in front of the property. Every morning we slipped our coffee, watching the different shore birds like pelicans, spoon bills, and ibis to name a few. The town of Cedar Key has done a lot to rebuild and everyone is very welcoming. There are natural springs 30 to 40 minute drive that are worth checking out. One surprise was how much we enjoyed the lower Suwanee wildlife refuge. Plenty of alligators. The house is lovely and very unique. Thank you for a great stay.

Our stay was perfect! Spectacular views from all rooms and outdoor porches! The weather turned cold and rainy but it didn’t matter! We enjoyed watching the birds and tides ebb and flow. Our time with family was invaluable and memories will be everlasting. The town of Cedar Key is opening back up after a hurricane last year and the locals are so grateful to have people visiting again. The shops featured local art work. The seafood is amazing…..clams, blue crab, soft shell crab, and oysters…..just to name some favorites! You can enjoy a delicious meal at a restaurant or buy your seafood and cook in the fabulous kitchen during your stay. We did both! Lots of fun places to have after dinner drinks or happy hour too! We rented a street legal golf cart and bikes which made it easy to see the island. Our host, Elliott and Kylie were most hospitable and always available. The Haven is very comfortable and we look forward to our next visit!
We enjoyed such a memorable relaxing holiday vacation in this special home! You will be surrounded by the beauty of nature and the views at sunrise and sunset were spectacular! We enjoyed kayaking and even spotted some dolphins playing, as well as sitting under the stars by the gas firepit. Every space was well appointed with quality coastal decor. The kitchen was wonderful to work in, and the bedding was super comfortable. We definitely look forward to the chance to stay here again.

Great home with an even better view! We went on a summer trip to Cedar Key and booked and booked Haven. The Dock and board walk had been taken out by a recent hurricane which prevented us from enjoying all this place has to offer. The owners communicated with us and we knew about the dock before going. We had an issue with the AC when we arrived but communication was great and the problem was resolved by the next day. It was a beautiful home and we enjoyed staying there. Great place to chill out with friends. Just a couple of miles to downtown Cedar Key. We weren't able to fish at the property itself but we did enjoy the Kayaks. Cedar Key itself is small and you can pretty much see everything they have to offer downtown in one day. The food there is amazing! Fresh grouper, clams and shrimp would be my recommendation. Every restaurant we tried was very good. Highly recommend the airboat ride with Denny Voyles. That was probably the highlight of the trip (Besides the house).

The house was absolutely beautiful, perfect for our relaxed girl's weekend. We didn't realize on booking that the bedrooms and common space were technically in separate spaces (i.e. you had to go outside to get between them), but it made gave us all some privacy when needed. There were all the amenities we could have needed in the kitchen and bathrooms, and the whole space was very comfortable. And the view were AMAZING! We saw dolphins swimming from the dining room and loved to watch the sunset from the deck. Elliot and Kylie sent tons of proactive communication on everything from driving directions, how to keep the house cool, and all check-in and check-out procedures. Awesome hosts, and a fantastic stay overall!
What a hidden gem! Elliott and Kylie's place has beautiful views and everything about the home was exactly as described and pictured. We felt right at home! My kids loved the puzzles and board games that were available. This was definitely an awesome experience for my family!

Disappointing management. One-sided contract. They keep the full $1,200 and we got to “make do” without AC Positive: Spectacular views! Retreat style-tree loft layout with breezy upper decks. Separate bedroom suites. Separate area for spacious kitchen, dining and living room with water views everywhere. Negative: For a 2-night stay: There were ample contracts to sign, strict rules, deposit and threats of penalty charges protecting the property - which are completely understandable. HOWEVER, there was zero accountability for us suffering through the second night without AC. The property declined to compensate us for failing to provide what we contracted and paid in full. What would you pay a booking for 2 nights stay with only 1 might of air conditioning? The location was too remote for us to leave early and find a hotel within 50 miles. Also that option wasn’t offered.
We had a wonderful stay at The Haven! Everything was provided for, the house was beautiful and the views were fantastic, regardless of the time of day. Elliott and Kylie were a pleasure to deal with and we cannot wait to visit again!
This home has beautiful views inside and out. The 360 top floor is beautiful during the day and night. The house is very updated and super welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!
This whole experience was awesome. I only gave it a single 4 star in the affordability review and it was due to the additional insurance that was required. The home, the views, comfort, neighborhood and attention to detail were amazing. Its the best place we have ever stayed. My wife said it was the most relaxing place she had ever been. I particularly like decks and views in my AirBnb vacations and this one was picked for that. It was a good decision. It had balconies and decks in abundance. The house itself is an amazing design. I really admire how flexible it would be for larger groups. What a great place for a family gathering. That is what we will do next time. We will be back for sure. We didn't use the kayacks or boats or firepit but I admire that these were availabe without additional charge. Overally it was a great experience, a beautiful hous and location. I recommend it without hesitation.

Perfection This house was hands down the best VRBO property we have stayed at. They thought of literally everything and we could not have been more impressed. The house was amazing for our family of 5 and had plenty of activities for the littles but also the space for relaxation for the adults. We could not have had a better time.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Haven. It was just two of us so we had lots of room to spread out. We really liked how the bedrooms were in one structure and the kitchen/family room on the other side. You could easily accommodate 6-8 people. Our favorite times we’re spending happy hour on the middle deck bird watching and then having a glass of wine on the dock for a closer look! Just beautiful, followed by a gorgeous sunset! Very, very clean house and well maintained. We also did an airplane tour of the area, reasonably priced, and rented a golf cart to check out the whole island. Lots of good restaurants and a nice small town vibe.

Comfortable stay in Cedar Key Stayed here while going to Razorbacks vs Florida Gators game. We enjoyed our time in this lovely home. Plenty of room for 4 adults to have enjoy. All the amenities were top notch. We enjoyed the area and went kayaking. Would definitely stay here again. Visited first weekend in November
If you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing spot- this is the place! The home and setting were perfect. The views, the sunsets/sunrises, the boardwalk, three levels of decks....all incredible. It unfortunately was unusually cold for Florida, so we didn't get to utilize the kayaks, but that would have been fantastic. It is a little tricky to find the home initially, so it's important to follow the directions they send and if you see the Tiki Bar you went too far. I really could go on and on about how wonderful this rental was- truly five star all the way!!
House was clean and comfortable. Nice quiet and private location close to public boat launch. Duck hunting was exceptional. Water tide was way too low to enjoy kayaks.

Everything was pristine when we arrived and the entire house was well stocked with high quality household items, including many items that made our stay much more comfortable with young kids. There were a few points of communication that could be improved, but nothing to prevent us from looking forward to our next opportunity to visit this beautiful, peaceful haven.

Wonderful vacation!
Quiet / Peaceful Definitely a 5 star review - the only thing that confused me prior to booking was that the house looked like 2 units next to each other. Once I looked closely at the pics I realized that the 2 units were connected via a porch. One unit (with its own roofline) are the sleeping quarters and the other is the kitchen / den area. I actually liked the separation of the two areas with the large porch in between. Unit has great views of the sunrise and estuary with the gulf in the distance. Very peaceful, neighbors are away from the house and it’s secluded. Enjoyed using the kayaks, actually ran into a dolphin while enjoying the water. House was tastefully decorated and updated recently with great beds and TV’s. Cedar Key is 5 minutes away and there’s not much evidence of the hurricane except for the damaged boardwalk on the property. I liked it so much that I’m returning in December - I rate this a 5.
This is a beautiful home in a quiet tranquil location. The various decks allow for viewing of the salt flats and the birds and fish - lots of mullet jumping and a variety of sea birds - we loved seeing the spoonbills, egrets, great blue heron and more. In addition, fantastic sunrises and sunsets from the upper deck were a highlight of our stay. And finally, the dark skies allowed us to get awesome view of the milky way and shooting stars at night. Town is very close, just a quick two minute drive to restaurants and shops. Hurricane Idalia did create widespread flood damage back in August, but it was amazing to see how the town pulled together quickly to get back up an running. We had a great lunch at Steamers, clam chowder at Tony's, breakfast at the 1842 Daily Grind and drinks at the historic Neptune Bar along with dinner at historic The Cedar Key Island Hotel. The kitchen was also wonderful for cooking meals for my family - while watching the birds from the kitchen window!

Wow! Wow! BEAUTIFUL! The host went above and beyond on this home! Stunning! We planned a few days to enjoy after visiting family near Orlando. There were a few storms but even in the storms , what a place to be. The views from this home are amazing. We saw so many beautiful birds, dolphins , fish jumping everywhere. We had a great time. Had to contact the host a few times. They were great to get right back to us! We had a great time and enjoyed our stay so much!!! Thank you Elliott and Kylie! It was awesome!!!! We loved all the decor so tastefully appointed!!! Clean clean clean! Really a great 4 days!!!!
The Haven is beautiful, the hosts thought of everything from welcome snacks to toothbrushes!! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook a 5 course meal and super nice cookware. Loved the privacy of the master suite, we got to have a mini vacation every night with a private balcony and 2nd floor detached space 🤩!!!
The Haven was a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Cedar Key is calm and serene and the house is wonderfully private, with great access to shallow waters in which to kayak. Everything was clean and well-appointed, and we had everything we needed and more for a comfortable and relaxing vacation. Would definitely stay again!
Pristine, quaint, and perfect This beautiful home was impeccably clean, stocked with everything you need and then some! Being that Cedar Key is well off the beaten path, it was so thoughtfully stocked and prepared for all of our needs. Our family of 6 had ample room to stretch out, relax, and enjoy the privacy and views that this property provides! We have stayed in many Vrbos and can easily say this one was the best one we have ever stayed in!

Beautiful view with beautiful house !!! The house was very clean. Lots of amenities and so organized. Might recommend dresser and hanging area for clothes in master. But other than that, everything was amazing! Would highly recommend!!
This spot is more beautiful than the photos. Every time I took a photo from any one of the 5 decks I would look at my phone and realize it was not anywhere near as beautiful in real life. My partner and I spent 4 days here watching herons, egrets, pelicans, rosette spoonbills, skimmers, osprey and more ALL DAY. At high tide we even saw a porpoise that came around two days in a row. The house feels really really private, the breeze from the ocean kept things from being buggy and the fact that you can see the sunrise from the bedroom deck and sunset from the top deck makes this house have EVERYTHING. That doesn't even mention that the house is seriously spotless. It is comfortable & well thought out. There is plenty of room for your stuff and it's very well appointed. Navigating it was very intuitive and it's clear they care a lot. The house was definitely the most expensive airbnb I've booked for just me and my partner, but it was completely worth it.

Wow! This place is spectacular. Everything is updated, decorated beautifully, and in an amazing location. I felt like I was walking into a HGTV home. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, kayaking, and the peaceful surroundings. I selfishly want to keep this place a secret and we hope to return! It is off the beaten path, but not remote, less than 5 min into town. Many details were thought of like mini fridges in each part of the house, multiple Keurigs, and we had plenty of towels, plus a welcome basket with snacks. One thing to note, there are lots of stairs, so it might not be the best choice for very young children (unless you are very vigilant) or those with mobility issues. However, we did notice accessories for babies and toddlers, although not needed for us. Those traveling in our group were ages 10 and older I would return in a heartbeat.
Relaxing Cedar Key Stay Our party of 4 mature adults had a great time relaxing at this property. The views are beautiful and we enjoyed walking out on the dock looking at all the wildlife. At dusk, we enjoyed sitting on the dock watching all the bats. Just make sure you bring plenty of bug spray!
This was truly an amazing property. The location offers privacy, stunning views, and full access to a beautiful and authentic wild Florida waterfront. The property itself is gorgeous from the fixtures to the furniture, and the nearby town area has plenty to do with bars, restaurants, and a classic small-town coastal Americana atmosphere. Would happily come back!
This place is absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. This is the most peaceful and quiet place I've ever been. The perfect place to getaway and unplug. We didn't want to leave the porch - we could sit and watch the wildlife all day. The interiors were beautiful too. It was a great weekend and we will definitely be back.

Fantastic view The property was beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped. The location was perfect , close to town but far enough away that it was very quiet. The view was gorgeous. We saw so many different kinds of birds from the deck. We love to hike and the hiking is excellent in the area. Just a perfect vacation.
