Very Good We have stayed in this property many times over the years and it is perfect for our small group. The view of the sound from the deck and pool are wonderful. The house itself was very clean and neat. We will definitely rent Tranquil Sound again.
A fabulous week at OBX this was our second year at Tranquil Sound, it provided everything our family enjoys, especially the accessible features, ramps, bathrooms. It was peaceful and fun, lots of beach and pool time. Couldn’t ask for more. We’re coming back next year!
Very Good The house was very clean upon arrival. We did have an issue with one of the main door locks. Resort Realty was very prompt and friendly with the repair. Kitchen was well stocked. My only complaint would be the "beach" on the property. The pictures are very misleading. The beach was covered with grass and debris to the point it was unusable. Which meant no way to put kayaks in also. We would highly recommend this house otherwise.
2026 Family vacation Beautiful place and location! Ice machine was a great idea! However, the mattresses are very worn and uncomfortable. Did not allow for good sleep. Otherwise, everything else we needed was available and our family had a great time here!
Tranquil family week on the sound The house was perfect for our needs….one of our party is disabled and really appreciated the accessibility built in to the house. The pool was a lifesaver since several days the beach was inundated by jelly fish. Looking forward to next year!
Beautiful view, lots of extras included We had a great stay and loved the views of the sound. We also appreciated the kayaks, cornhole boards, pool floats, bikes, and beach stuff that was included with the home! The ice maker in the kitchen was also a nice bonus. Beds were comfortable
