LOVE this House! Spacious amazingly equipped home oh, so close to the beach! Perfect for a family of five, plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. Between the hammock on the second floor seating areas outside on the second end, top floors, the movie room with games in the basement looking out to the pool… Fantastic! My only negative comments might be that the mattress in the double/queen room is uncomfortable.
Great time Access to the beach was short and easy, everything we needed was available in the home, and the weather was great! We all had a great time!
Another Great Family Vacation This was our second year at The Blue Heron and our family had a great time. This house is in a good location with easy access to the beach. Grandchildren love the pool. Thanks for another memorable family vacation!

Relaxing and pleasurable experience We had a wonderful and relaxing time staying in The Blue Heron for two weeks. The weather was great and so was the location. Close to the beach and not far from the shops in Duck or Corolla.
Great Family Home Our family had a wonderful vacation at The Blue Heron. Very comfortable home in a great location. Short walk to the beach and easy access over the dune. Grandchildren loved the pool. The ocean temperature was low and we were very grateful for the pool. Already have our reservation for 2024. Can’t wait to return!

Awesome Location was awesome - 2 houses from beach! The house was amazing -everything we needed and then some- we loved the game room and pool. The house was immaculate even the porches and outside deck furniture were clean. My family of 6 (4 school age boys and hubby and I )all agree the house and location were great. We’ve been coming to Duck For 5 years and this has been my favorite house.
We didn't want to leave! The Blue Heron is a fantastic house - our favorite we've stayed in over our years vacationing in Duck. The owners have put lots of care into thoughtful updates that create a restful environment. But not too restful, thanks to the fun game room on the lower level! We each found a happy place on the porches and decks, and the pool and the short walk to the beach kept the kids in the water most of the day.
Fun Family Vacations This was the second time my family has stayed at Sandy Pants. We always enjoy ourselves. We normally grandparents and aunts and uncles so it's nice to have the extra room with everyone. There has been new patio furniture added since these photos were taken but everything else is basically the same. There is close access to the beach and the pool really helps with the little ones who aren't fond of the ocean just yet. You won't be disappointed with this rental.
