2510 - Six Knots — Guest Reviews

Excellent This is a beautifully laid out home overlooking the sound. This was our second year coming to Six Knots in October, and we are likely to come again. The only possible problem in the high season of summer is it's proximity to NC 12. We suspect it would be noisy. Disclaimer: we used to own a rental in Ocean Sands; we know how difficult it is to keep a home as well equipped as this one!

Fantastic sunset views House is bright, clean, and decorated with understated beach themes. Sunsets on the Sound are spectacular from the third-floor deck as well as from the private pier.

Best beach house we've ever rented We absolutely loved this house. The best of all worlds- gorgeous sunset views, easy ocean access, community pool access. Well- appointed and thoughtful renters amenities (kayak, beach chairs, books and games. ) We finally felt that we found the house that we can return to every year. So, we are beyond sad that this house is not in the rental program in 2023

Sound Pleasure Having a house in the Resort Rental program for many years, it is a pleasure to assess "Six Knots". It is hard to maintain a shore residence to the level that is obvious in Six Knots. Clearly the kitchen has be recently redone and has a surfeit of necessary kitchenware and utensils. The furniture throughout the house is quality. But, what impressed us most is the photographs and artifacts throughout. Some one with an artistic flair has decorated the interior. Our house overlooked the ocean (from about 1/3 mile back). This house overlooks the sound. We have found we like the sound better; and if our schedule permits intend to re-rent this house in 2022. It is a winner.

First Family Vacation My wife and I didn't know what to expect on our first family vacation, especially in the OBX. We heard so many wonderful stories leading up to our trip. We are so thankful we were able to stay at Six Knots. We always felt right at home. From the cool mornings to the beautiful soundfront sunsets, Six Knots, helped us feel right at home. After jet skiing, ocean wave jumping, or climbing Bodie Island Lighthouse being able to have a place to "go home" was fantastic. We definitely will be staying in Six Knots again and again. 2510 SIX KNOTTS 1460 DUCK ROAD For beginning to end guest attendants were so professional and helpful in helping with our reservation. We had to call about internet password we were so surprised they sent someone within 30 minutes. House was very clean. Loved the location. We will stay again and use same agency.

Fantastic! We have been coming to the OBX for 5 years now and this was our best house rental yet!!! The views from the up stairs and decks is breathtaking! We loved having our own private dock and enjoyed kayaking. Amazing to be on the Sound front and a less then 15 minute walk( half of which is shaded) and you are at the ocean! The house was terrific! The kitchen was so well stocked, beds were super comfy! There really was nothing that we did not like! We will be booking again and already can’t wait to go back! Thank you!!

Return visit This was our third or fourth stay at Six Knots. We love the location on the sound. Location is great. The home is a short (shaded) walk to the ocean. It’s a perfect home away from home.
