Cats Pause The house was beautifully decorated and very well equipped with everything you need for relaxation, entertainment, and cooking. Fantastic views and comfortable furnishings. Definitely a house we would return to.
Beautiful Oceanfront Home Cats Pause was a spacious, clean, cozy house for a winter getaway! The view was gorgeous! The kitchen was well-stocked. We loved being just steps from the beach! I think it would be perfect for a summer vacation, too. There were lots of beach chairs and beach toys in the garage.

An Awesome Week at Cat Pause Our family enjoyed an awesome stay at Cat Pause. Things started out on the “right foot” when we arrived and found this fabulous home in sparkling condition. Kudos to your cleaning crew! The kitchen was amazing, actually everything was. Great location and ocean views. Sounds like a little thing, but we particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower when coming up from a sandy day on the beach. We did have one tiny maintenance issue but Resort Realty provided prompt, efficient, and very friendly/courteous service. Thank you to both the homeowner and Resort Realty for such a nice week!

4th of July at Duck 2 of my adult children and their families stayed for a week---11 people in all. We visited for 2 dinners, and were very pleased with all of the aspects of this home---the layout was perfect and the view and proximity to the ocean ideal. We would highly recommend Cats' Paws!
House and Location This home is beautifully appointed, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need. It’s a beautiful neighborhood and we enjoyed our walks on the streets and also the nature trails. We enjoyed the beach, it was never crowded. Excellent location. The owner was on the property with a contractor discussing some updates on the grounds and we mentioned to them that we would love to rent Cats Pause again in September 2024. So please, keep us in mind should September open up for rent. Last but not least, your office was most accommodating, absolutely no complaints. Thank you.
Perfect Beach Setup House is in great condition in a wonderful beachside neighborhood. Plenty of space, beautiful views and overall the perfect setup to enjoy the beach. No issues with anything. Thanks for sharing your beach home with our family.
Lovely home and view - steep dune to beach We loved this home and the view of the beach. The porches were wonderful and the elevator was so helpful for my aging parents. The pictures showed a dune that could be access via a private walkway but that is now covered in sand and the walk to the beach is very steep. It was a challenge!
Loved this house! We loved Cat's Pause! Our group are all adults, and we appreciated the roominess of the entire house plus the number of bedrooms, master bathrooms and the elevator. This year one of us had a bum knee, and the elevator came in very handy. It is obvious that the owners take a lot of pride in their property. Unfortunately for us, the owners have closed rentals at the end of September for 2023 and our timeframe is no longer available. We would love to return to Cat's Pause!
Great week on OBX The house was beautiful. We arrived to find the house freshly cleaned and ready for our use. The ocean view was spectacular. There are many restaurants and places to shop near by.
Great House We had a fantastic stay at Cats Pause. The open living space was perfect for our family. The kitchen was stocked and the starter paper products were a huge help!
Cat's Pause It was great to find a place to meet my family at a half way point. They came down from Syracuse and I came up from Georgia. We lucked out on weather as it was sunny all week. Definitely had enough space to sprawl out and we enjoyed watching the dolphins from the deck.
CATS PAUSE DECEMBER RENTAL Everything was perfect. My family really enjoyed our stay over the Christmas holiday. Only thing icemaker needs to be fixed. Very small thing.
