grateful We spent the week of the nor-easter at Sandpiper Station and we were so grateful to enjoy it in such a wonderful home. From Bluetooth speakers to enjoy our music, to a fantastic and well equipped kitchen, the house is spacious, beautiful, and well maintained. The weather was not great, but Sandpiper Station made our family memories the greatest.
Annual Vacay! Fantastic property! Quiet neighborhood with private beach access. House was well msintained with many amenities, such as cooking pans and utensils. Only issue was the driveway. Landscape pebbles were used and the minivan got stuck. Took a little effort, but was able to get out of the loose and thick pebbles. Depending on your vehicle, stay to the right to be safe. Plenty of beach chairs to use and kid toys as well. Highly recommended!
Very Good My family had an amazing week. The house was furnished with just about anything that was needed. Really enjoyed the peacefulness of the community and how secluded the beach was. My only critique would be that the stairs going to the beach being covered in sand were an inconvenience, there are several nails sticking up in the decking by the hammock, and several of the decking handrails could use some attention. Thanks for providing a great house for our vacation!

Home away from Home Our family has rented Sandpiper Station every fall since the house came on the rental market back in 2010. This is our first time staying in the spring. House has everything you can imagine and it feels like home to us. Owners continually keeping house immaculate and add new features each year.

Favorite Rental Home Ever! We have stayed in 19 properties on the Outer Banks since 1982 with a few years’ exceptions. We have stayed in Southern Shores, Duck, North Duck, Ocean Sands, Corolla, Corolla Light, Crown Point, Pine Island and Buck Island. This was my favorite home and location! I say “home” because this is clearly a home the owners took great pride in designing, furnishing and equipping with everything they would want and generously share it with others. How fortunate we were to rent it. We may not be back until 2025 but would hope it would be available.
Excellent house and stay I have been coming to OBX for over 25 years. This was one of my favorite houses. The perks were the location to the ocean and how well stocked the house was. It had everything you could possibly need and more. It was clean and the layout worked perfectly for my family.
Excellent The setting was perfect! The home was immaculate, well maintained inside and out and the furnishings were welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home had everything we needed and there was plenty of room for all of us. I really liked the set up. Wonderful vacation and we are planning to return next year and will want to stay at Sandpiper Station.
Great House As our cousins and I are getting older an elevator would be a great thing to have but we would have a hard time finding a house as great as this one. So we keep plugging along with the stairs. Between one of my cousins and I we have been renting this house every year for 12 years.
Great House Our family of cousins have been renting Sandpiper Station for several years. We love it. Lots of room for 4 couples. The open kitchen, dining area and living room floor plan is great. It is just a few miles to Duck so we ride our bikes up to the town. I hope we can continue coming to Sandpiper Station for years to come.
Great week in Sandpiper Station One of the nicest and well equipped and homey feeling houses we have ever rented in the OBX. Location of the house and semi-private walkway to the beach made daily trips to/from the beach a breeze. Everyone, adults and kids alike loved the vast selection of books in the house and appreciated the variety of titles.
Excellent Beautiful home with plenty of room for our family. Loved the selection of books and reading area in the master bedroom. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed for preparing meals and the separate ice maker was great!
Awesome house Excellent place to stay in Duck, NC. House was beautiful and had plenty of room for everyone. Short easy walk to the ocean.
Well equipped beautiful home! Duck this year had a severe problem with midges which make the spider’s hang out outside the house on furniture, windows and deck. The owners were very gracious and accommodating in spraying and power washing the house and deck. It was not the homeowners fault just nature! The inside was decorated beautifully with tons of books to read. Multiple TVs and a very equipped kitchen with multiple of everything! Would love to stay here again when the midges and spiders have moved on, evidently this was one of the worse years! Beach access is fast and easy. They do have an outside shower and beach chairs that the Realtor said they did not so that was confusing. All and all our family had a great time!
