The place is beautiful, surrounded by mountains with amazing fall colors, and we really enjoyed the location and views. However, there was a noticeable smell inside, especially during the first two days. The hosts were responsive and provided a room spray, which we appreciated, although with a small child, we preferred not to rely on a fragranced spray throughout our stay. Our other disappointment was the hot tub, one of the main reasons we booked the place. The cover or top area had what appeared to be black mold or fungus, so we didn’t feel comfortable using it at all. Overall, we loved the location, but these issues did affect our experience.

The downstairs was perfect for my teenage grandson. We had a lot of fun with the pool table & hot tub. Only thing we found wrong with this trip was it wasn’t long enough 😔

Everything about this place was great. The hosts were very accommodating, the place was gorgeous, the amenities were nice and the kids had a blast. Only issue was the thermostat was on the fritz so the cabin wasn’t cooling down during the day. But even with that, the host was communicative and tried to help troubleshoot the issue. Which, I appreciated. I would definitely recommend this place and will very likely go back!

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at this cabin in Wolf Laurel! The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing mountain getaway. The location was fantastic, and we really enjoyed our time there.Communication with the host was excellent from beginning to end. They were friendly, helpful, and very responsive. Any questions or minor issues that came up were answered and addressed extremely quickly, which we really appreciated.Overall, it was a great experience and a wonderful place to stay. We would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone visiting the Wolf Laurel area and would happily stay here again!

We spent our Honeymoon at this beautiful Cabin and our stay was FABULOUS! If you contemplating on staying here, stop, and book it while it's available! The house was clean, stocked with all your needs, beds were very comfortable and there's enough space for everyone to have their own. If your looking for beautiful mountain views while soaking in a Jacuzzi after a long hike or ski, this place has it all. We stayed here in May, while everything was in bloom, the area was quite, with plenty of wildlife visiting in mornings and evenings. The drive up the mountain up to 4,500 feet held some of the best views from the area. Thanks to the Host for making this place available for all to enjoy! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🏁🏁🏁

We had a great time!

The house is very nice as well as all amenities. We could not use the hot tub because of freezing temperatures and the host did let us know before hand, which was nice and transparent. We had issues getting there as we arrived in the middle of a winter storm. The vehicles suggested by the host were AWD or 4WD, but please bring a 4WD if its snowing as our rented AWD could not go uphill during this weather. It was not a problem with the property but knowing that 4WD was necessary for this weather in this road would have been helpful and save us a lot of time. As for the rest of the stay and after changing cars, it was great. surroundings are beautiful! The house as well and the host were responsive.

We had everything we needed. The internet wasn't working but that was an outage due to the weather. Also the main access road was closed so we had to take a back road which meant a longer drive to the ski resort but we managed! We booked last minute and Kylie was extremely accommodating and responsive to all requests.

Area was beautiful and house had great amenities

We had a great time at Elliott and Kylie’s place. It was clean and they were incredibly responsive hosts. We enjoyed the gas fire, the hot tub and the pool table very much. A couple things to know about the house, the need for 4 wheel drive, if weather is sketchy, is VERY REAL! Also, during our stay there was a road closure that required us to take an alt route to the house. Worth noting that the coffee maker is NOT a Keruig it is a drip coffee maker. Also there is a crockpot and a griddle, both great tools for a family who is planning to ski or do other all day activities outside! We very much enjoyed our stay!

Was the perfect place to spend our family Christmas! The beds were comfy, the kitchen well stocked, the views beautiful, very user friendly & the house arrangement was just perfect for us. Thanks alot!

We stayed here for Thanksgiving and it was amazing! We had everything we needed to cook dinner. The views were amazing. The hot tub was incredible. The house is spacious and the rooms are cozy and comfy. The hosts were extremely friendly and responsive! We had a mild issue and they were quick to respond in Thanksgiving day. If there is ice or snow you will need a 4 wheel drive for sure.

Comfortable cabin with gorgeous views with super responsive hosts. We had everything we needed and all amenities were as described! Sheets were clean and very soft. Great location and close to Asheville, etc.

We enjoyed our stay at this Mars Hill cabin so much we added another day to our stay. It is so beautiful and peaceful up on the mountain. The cabin is lovely, nice layout with plenty of room for everyone. There’s plenty of room to store clothing and other belongings, closets and bedroom and bathroom drawers were empty for us. Really nice washer and dryer set…. I made note of the model numbers so I can look at these for the new appliances I will be purchasing soon.

GPS does not bring you to correct address. House was clean and had every amenity we needed plus more. It was cozy with a great view! Hosts were very responsive to my small issues. Overall I rate a 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Everything was exactly as described and the home was a great place to stay for a relaxing and peaceful mountain get away. The hot tub and pool table were enjoyed by all. The view is amazing to wake up to and enjoy any time. They helped us book last minute and made sure everything was ready for us the day we booked. Communication was responsive, friendly, and helpful. Our hosts were very responsive. As with any place you may stay, we had a few minor issues shortly after arrival but they were resolved within just a few hours after notifying them. The kitchen is very well stocked with cookware, dishes, and basic supplies. The area is beautiful and we felt safe. Would definitely recommend their home for a comfortable 5 star stay!

Great layout for grandparents, parents and 2 kids. Beautiful view! Loved having the pool table and downstairs area. We had a couple of maintenance issues but hosts were super responsive. A bit of a drive to most everything (yet not a bad drive to Asheville if you want city time), so get your groceries ahead of time and enjoy the amenities of the place in the evenings instead of going out.

Loved the stay. The views every morning were unmatched. Sunsets were beautiful as well. Would recommend this to any of my friends!

Our stay at your rental was overall a very nice and comfortable experience. The only issues that came up were minimal but were never responded to. There was also mention of a restaurant that was a 1 minute walk from the house but it was very clearly not open for business and hasn't been for some time.

This place was an amazing experience with the views and the coziness of the home. We picked this place really last minute due to a power outage at our originial location, and the hosts Elliot and Kylie were very flexible and willing to host us at such short notice. The home was gorgeous and the views were breathtaking. It is a great place to bring a family for a warm and relaxing trip. One thing I would let all future guest know is that the drive up to the cabin is very steep and during inclement weather be prepared with a vehicle that can handle that. Overall amazing place to stay!

Nice mountain cabin, acces is a little difficult in winter so AWD is a must.

For the price point, it was definitely worth it and timing (luck) was impeccable in order to take advantage of great ski conditions.

We had so much fun. Close to ski, mountains are beautiful, beds are comfy.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location was incredible, with stunning views, spacious rooms, and excellent amenities. Our family had a fantastic time. However, we did face some challenges getting in, as the road was unexpectedly closed. A bit more advance notice about this would have been appreciated, especially since we were driving through the night, which made the situation feel unsafe. Additionally, there was a slight inconvenience with work orders and requests for towels not being fulfilled. That said, the host was very responsive and quick to reply to our messages. Overall, this place is beautiful, and we would definitely book again!

An incredible view! The cabin was incredibly cozy, we felt right at home.

Host were very responsive and attentive. Any and all questions I had were answered almost immediately. Host was very friendly and made us feel welcomed!

My teenaged kids and I had a wonderful time staying here! The house was spacious, clean, and beautiful. I did a fair amount of cooking, and the kitchen was better-equipped than many other vacation homes I've been to. We liked that the property was relatively remote, which meant great skies for watching a meteor shower! It was roughly an hour drive to get to the Blue Ridge Parkway and a little further to get to some great hikes on the BRP like the Mt. Mitchell peak, but the drive was beautiful, and there were also closer places to hike if we had wanted. It took about 40 minutes or so to get into Asheville, and we had a good time visiting there, too. There was a "general store" that was just a few minutes away in the ski valley that had a few essential/"emergency" supplies available, otherwise it was around 30 minutes to get to a large grocery store like a Publix or an Ingles. Overall one of our very favorite vacation homes!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The cabin is stunning, both inside and out, and is perfectly situated in a serene location. It’s well-equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. We had a blast playing billiards, loved soaking in the jacuzzi, and appreciated having a grill for barbecues. The views are breathtaking, and the outdoor decks are perfect for taking it all in. Communication with the hosts was seamless, making our stay truly five-star. Highly recommended!

Wonderful house, and a great host. The place was nice and secluded, and the inside was clean. the pool table and hot tub were taken care of very well definitely recommend this place!

This place is amazing. Beautiful location on top of the mountains, had great amenities like a pool table and hot tub, toms of sleeping options, and 2 decks that overlook the mountains. Definitely a great space for a family getaway. A quick 20 minute drive to town and about 40 minutes to white water rafting.

We enjoyed our stay and the view was amazing!!! Very spacious and clean! We would highly recommend! The only con: there was already trash in the outdoor trashcan from a previous stay (no biggie). We look to return maybe in the fall.

Great airbnb!

This was the perfect place to celebrate my adult son's birthday. We have been doing this yearly as a family reunion type thing since we live in different states and over the years we have picked out various cabins to rent in the mountains. This cabin was located near some trails that we enjoyed hiking. It also offered the perfect ambiance to stay inside when it rained--- playing games, using the pool table, taking a soak in the hot tub, and have a nice warm fireplace to make everything cozy. The cabin was located about 40 minutes from downtown Asheville and we ventured over there a couple of times for activities and dining. Definitely pay attention to the directions to the place given to you in your welcome email. Your G maps app will steer you to an address in Burnsville. All in all the cabin met our expectations and we are very satisfied and would recommend.

Fantastic spot for a family vacation in the mountains. Everyone had their space and felt at home.

Lovely place. Very clean, plenty of space for us and our guests. Nice and warm and cozy while snowing outside. Loved the fireplace. We couldn’t get the fireplace downstairs to work but it was really never about being cold. It was more about the ambience. Pool table was pretty awesome, we definitely go again.

10/10 great stay

This home is perfect. Amazing view and secluded from the other houses in the area. The interior was better than expected. Themed decorations for Christmas time, the most stocked kitchen I have ever seen in an AirBnB. The hot tub is in good condition and runs great. The home is so comfortable. There really isn’t anything I would change. Things to take note of: The GPS will take you the back way in. Every map platform did this including G maps and our Tesla. (Apple couldn’t find the address) This is fine but if you think you might be getting any kind of snow. Do not go this way. We almost got stuck (like many others in the area had). It is very steep and not safe at all to drive on while there is ice. We figured out you need to take “Wolf Ridge Rd” I believe was the name of it. It is the first turn just before the turn at Wolf Laurel Rd. They are able to plow and salt that road. Overall, one of the best AirBnB visits I have had. I would recommend you book with these guys.

Kylie & Elliott's place was exactly what our family needed, a peaceful getaway. We were happy to stay put, cook together in the kitchen that had practically everything, play games and watch TV, even though they gave recommendations of things to do nearby. We never figured out the fireplaces, but we also didn't try very hard after they responded (quickly) with a suggestion, because we have very little experience with gas logs. Seasonal decor was an extra special touch that made Thanksgiving away from feel like we were indeed at home. The hot tub was our favorite feature! Would have liked a few extra towels, but the dryer was convenient enough that we could toss our towel in after a hot tub visit so it would be ready for a shower. Would stay here again!

The house was easy to get to and unpack/pack from our vehicle. Easy access and lock up process. House was clean and had everything we needed. very cozy. We loved the pool table in the lower level and the view from the rear deck area. Very peaceful for a much needed quiet weekend.

Elliott and Kylie are exceptional hosts! They were very available and responsive to any questions we had prior to and during our stay. Their beautiful cabin was just as described, if not better. The floor plan was perfect for our large family, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make dinners, and we really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. The view was gorgeous! I highly recommend this place!

The cabin was great....5 Stars...very clean and peaceful. Only 2 minor issues, we were given the wrong door code at check-in, and the hot tub needed serviced, but both problems were fixed right away with great communication. we really enjoyed the cabin and it was a great value for the price we paid.

Cabin was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Kitchen was particularly well equipped. Pool table and games were lots of fun. Hot tub was nice, but a bit dated so controls were a difficult to read. Ran into a couple questions checking in, but hosts communicated immediately. Was a great experience.
