Would definitely stay here again! We loved staying here! The location was fantastic and very close to the beach. There was a slight odd smell when we first arrived, although it may have just been the ocean air. A few air fresheners took care of it. The closet door in the second-floor bedroom was a little difficult to open, but otherwise everything was great. There was a nice selection of beach chairs available, and we really appreciated having an umbrella to use as well. The rental company was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Parking was a bit challenging, but other than that, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again!

Excellent Memorial Day stay This is my second year staying at anchors away. I had the best time, invited a couple of friends down for the weekend and then stayed the rest of the week there myself. I felt comfortable, safe and had everything I needed. It is close to all the spots I like to go to and even found a few new ones! I will be back, hopefully sooner than later. The only thing was the drive home turned into an eight hour trip instead of a 5 1/2 hour trip otherwise it was a perfect week.🤗

Stay at anchors away 6/14-6/21/25 We very much enjoyed our stay at anchors away . The unit was very well stocked .. we had everything we needed . The furnishings were beautiful, very comfortable and very clean . The beach was very close and the pool was well maintained and enjoyable . My only issue was the parking situation . We had a car and a truck and once we were underneath the covering we could not open our doors . With the unit next door also having cars filling their space it was very difficult to get the trash cans and grill out without having to move our cars . All in all we were very pleased with this beautiful and well stocked unit and very much enjoyed our vacation at the Outer Banjs

Great stay We had a great stay! Kitchen fully stocked, nice outdoor seating areas, just across from the pool (which the kids often had to themselves) and short walk to the beautiful beach. Another bonus - the unit is a 2 minute drive to Harris Teeter, Duck Donuts and Super Wings. We appreciated the games, beach chairs and umbrella.

Very Good The location was nice being a short walk to the beach and close proximity to dining and shopping. The atmosphere was relaxing with the comforts of home. I wish Mother Nature had cooperated, but hey you can’t have everything.

Fabulous Beach Vacation! Anchors Aweigh is a beautiful, clean, relaxing beach house located close to the ocean. We have been staying at this location for many years and plan to hopefully continue to rent at Anchors Aweigh for many more years to come. Sincerely, Marilyn and Joe McVeigh

The unit is beautifully appointed and well-equipped. It is bright and cheerful. Its proximity to the ocean is definitely a plus. Would definitely recommend it for potential renters.

Absolutely loved staying at Anchors Aweigh! Loved how organized and new everything was! Loved how close to beach it was and close to lifeguard stands! Excellent! Better than we imagined!

Everything Was Great! Everything was great! We had a wonderful vacation! The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the keyless entry was the best! We will return!
