Very Good It's a Shore Thing provided a great place for a family gathering. It was spacious, had a very well equipped kitchen, the beach entrance was close by and the pool provided an extra bonus. Down side was the outdoor grills were not operable and the dishwasher is servicable, but parts of the utensil recepticle has holes, which the silverware can slip through into the dishwasher bottom.

Beach House The house and location was wonderful. We had 8 adults and 7 children. The kitchen was nicely stocked and everything worked well. On the 2nd day the 2nd floor got warm but as soon as I called, maintenance was there and fixed the problem. Will look forward the renting again.

We loved this house! It was in a great location and was well stocked in the kitchen! We only have two small complaints: one was the overgrown weeds in the back by the pool and apparently one needs a college degree to operate the washing machine! LolAll in all it was a wonderful experience!

Once in a lifetime family vacation Loved the spaciousness of the home, the elevator for ease and the location was excellent. The kitchen was very well equipped. A few things needed attention, such as, older doors/screens, the pool area/showers needed a major cleaning and older non-working grills needed to be removed. The decking on the third floor was new and very nice. The rest of the decking is also in need of replacing. All and all, my family had a wonderful time and left OBX with many memories ❤️

A Shore Delight in spite of Debbie This home was extremely well-equipped with cooking vessels, dishes, utensils, etc. Beach chairs and equipment were also plentiful and in good condition, which was a welcome surprise, though Tropical storm Debbie limited our time on the beach. We really loved the house, but the decks are definitely in need of attention/updating. The wood is very worn, which caused some of us to avoid the decks completely for safety reasons. The ping pong table and pool table were awesome diversions from the rainy weather, as were the board games. The elevator was very much appreciated. Overall, it was a great week!

A Lovely Spot Six adults shared the house for a week and although it was overcast, the week was great. End of the season usually brings a few items that need attention but overall the place was well equipped and comfortable!

It's A Shore Thing Great location near beach access. The beach was wide with a very nice sandbar perfect for young children. The house was very well equipped and met our needs extremely well. The decking needs some upgrades but overall we were very satisfied with this beach rental.

Spacious It was spacious for our group of 18. Kitchen was well equipped. Very short/easy walk to the beach.

Very Good Perfect house for a large family gathering. The walk to the beach felt like walking out of the driveway and on to the beach access. The beach access was doable- slope and 10 steps up and 35 steps down! The dunes were amazing, and the beach was perfect. Kitchen was very well stocked with every gadget and plenty of dishes. Deck off the family room was perfect for listening to the ocean. Extra bonus was the garage which I was not expecting. Great place to store beach chairs. Extra storage for beach/pool items to the right of the front door. Pool was large, very comfortable with steps and a side for sitting. Two outdoor showers and an out door bathroom was wonderful! Plenty of outdoor sitting at the pool and each deck.

Very Good Pros-We love the layout of this house-comfortably accommodates a large group where we can all come together, the location/walk to the beach is reasonable, multiple decks to hang on so you definitely feel like you have a space to retreat to, great pool area. We’ve been to this house multiple times. Realty company was responsive to our questions/concerns-small issue with the grill on the first day which they fixed. Cons-not everything is modernized but the house still suits our needs. This trip the decks were showing their age-one was wobbly. Hopeful that will get resolved. Overall-We had a great experience & hope to be back again!

Awesome family home! We have stayed in this home 8 or 9 times. The location is perfect and having the 8 bedrooms is awesome. The pool is larger than the one at other homes we have stayed in. The multiple decks allow for everyone to have space and either be in the sun or shade. The home is well equipped with griddles, coffee makers etc. Love the addition of the tiki bar poolside. The outdoor showers are also great to get the sand off. Love staying here!!

Very Good Very nice property within a block from the beach. Property had every possible luxury including an elevator.

Excellent This was our best OBX vacation yet. It was perfect for our 4 families with people ranging from ages 3 to 98. The home was even closer to the beach than we anticipated. It had a wide variety of cooking utensils and dishes. The large pantry and elevator were useful for all our shopping trips. And there was a large selection of movies, family friendly games and beach supplies/toys. The only small negatives were that we could only find 2 usable beach chairs and there is a set of steep steps to the beach due to the nearby dunes. But would absolutely recommend to another family!
