The Perfect Get-a-way! This was the perfect place and setting for our group of 9 ladies! Had everything we needed. The location was great, very quiet, near the beach and convenient shopping. Very roomy and comfortable. Loved that is had ample seating in the Livingroom and Kitchen, a great view of the ocean from the crow's nest, a hot tub, elevator, private bathrooms for 8 of the bedrooms and plenty of parking space too! Can't say enough "good stuff" about this place. We had a wonderful time would definitely recommend and we will return!!

We had a great stay for our large family. The weather was not great but we had a good time staying inside, playing cards, ordering out, playing pool, enjoying the hot tub and the movie theater. It was very close to the beach and in a very nice community.

Great house This is such a great house that we have rented 3 years in a row. A few upgrades this year which were awesome--new pool lounge chairs, new kitchen cabinets/drawers. Only minor complaints--the arms of the chairs in the upstairs family room are very loose. Also, it's awesome that the upstairs fridges have water filters, but the water dispenser areas need to be cleaned because they are black and moldy. The house has everything you need and amazing beach access!!!

Great house! Our family loved this house! We had 12 adults and 6 kids (ages 4 months thru 7 years). The home was clean, spacious, comfortable, well stocked and close to the beach access. We loved the theater room and pool areas! The layout was great and having 2 laundry rooms was extremely convenient. One of the best OBX homes we have stayed at and the price was extremely reasonable! (Thank you for the military discount!) If I had to find a negative it would be the lack of Tupperware type containers (we cook in all week and always have leftovers) and the crib was not functional, but we had a pack and play so it was a none issue. Overall we had an amazing vacation in this beautiful beach house! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

August 2024 We use every inch of this home to its fullest. We do pack a little heavy being seasoned renters, we have our favorite things. We have rented in OBX for 14 seasons and Hook Line & Sinker has served us well for 4 seasons and we are booked for the 5th. Keeping in mind that this is a beach house rental it has always been very clean upon arrival. Thank you to Resort Realty and the homeowner for sharing their beach home.

Great Property Hook Line and Sinker is an amazing property with a great location. Beach access is so easy and with it being private access it doesn't get crowned. With a a group this size having 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers and 2 refrigerators in the kitchen is a huge help. The house definitely needs a little TLC though. Kitchen pots/pans could stand to be updated and some of the drawers are very hard to open among other things but.we already booked for next year so we clearly loved the house!!

Our fav house! This was our group's second time at hook line & sinker...with 14 years in between! We had 4 families - 8 adult couples, and 14 adult 'children' now. The space & layout of the house, and the distance to the beach was just as wonderful as we remembered. It is one of the only Corolla homes this size with an elevator, and we all appreciated it during our stay for convenience of grocery unloading. The home is as beautifully decorated as we remembered but is definitely showing wear & tear over the years. Most of the kitchen appliances were brand new, with the exception of the microwave - one in the cabinets didn't work, but a replacement was on the counter for our stay. Some drawers got 'stuck' often and came off the tracks...a few cabinets were missing doors...the aesthetics weren't great, but I'd say still a fully stocked & functional kitchen. The shutters covering windows were a nice touch, keeping the heat out or the sun in, depending on preference. The upstairs was large enough to seat our crew for dinners and after meal games & shenanigans. The deck off the top floor is in need of replacement asap. We were very careful not to have many people out there at once because it seemed quite unstable. The eagles nest roof top was great for a small group watching fireworks. All the furniture around the pool deck is in need of replacement, as is the grill. We used our beach furniture for pool hang outs. even with the wear & tear, we still booked for our next trip 2 years from now. The location & floorplan is too perfect for our group.

Fabulous OBX Vacation Home! Our group of 5 families fit perfectly into this home! It's great having master bedrooms with all king beds. The basement bedrooms were perfect for our teenage kids. The house is a short walk to the beach and a short distance to shopping and dining. The top floor is very open and welcoming. We all loved the Crow's Nest...beautiful views!! Overall, a fabulous house for a large group. Our families would definitely come back to Hook Line and Sinker!! Thanks for accommodating us! We had a wonderful vacation! There were a few areas in the home that could use some TLC. A couple of broken drawers and cabinets in the kitchen and bedrooms. Some of the kitchen tools could be updated or replaced. The powder room TP holder was torn off the wall upon our arrival. The dining area is huge! We wished there was more seating/bigger table or even a second table.

Perfect fit for our extended family! The location, layout and amenities of this home were perfect for our extended family group ranging in age from 1-67. The pool, pool table, theater room and close beach access were perfect to entertain the kids, teens and active adults, and the older adults appreciated the elevator and handicap parking available at our closest beach access. Those who didn’t spend as much time on the beach itself still enjoyed watching sunrise from the crows nest. The house matched the online pictures, was very clean upon arrival and very well maintained. It had much nicer and sturdier deck furniture than we’ve found at other homes we’ve rented. We also appreciate the ample parking. We were able to fit 7 vehicles in the front parking spaces and could have parked 1 additional on the side corner space if needed. We also appreciated the outside half bath which allowed wet kids to use it without getting the basement floor all wet. With the same size group, we would definitely come back to this home.

Very Good ++ The location is excellent. Excellent layout. Plenty of amenities between the house and the Ocean Sands community. Elevator & accessible room is excellent. From the crows nest is amazing all by itself. Plenty of parking spaces.

Excellent House This was our very first trip of the year since Covid happened. Everyone needed a trip and and change of scenery. And guess what??? We found it RIGHT HERE AT THIS HOUSE!!! So spacious, pool is a great size, hot tub, and the bathroom by the pool was everything. Choose this house for your next family vacation.

Very Good The size of this house suited our family very well. The kitchen was well stocked with every utensil you might think you might need and having two ovens, two side by side refrigerators, two dish washers and two sinks was a huge bonus. We are hoping to be able to return next year.
