Loved our stay! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fox Snooze! It was the perfect rental for our group of seven—our family of four, my mother-in-law, and my daughter's boyfriend. The home was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a wonderful week at the beach. Some of our favorite features included: Just a 7–10 minute walk to the beach, making beach trips easy. The air conditioning worked wonderfully on every level, and we especially appreciated having separate temperature controls for each floor. The pool table in the rec room was a huge hit with everyone. The rec room also has a bonus refrigerator and a full bathroom, which was very convenient when spending time at the pool. The private pool was a great size—perfect for relaxing and even swimming laps. The large beach wagon was very helpful for hauling our gear. We ended up driving our beach supplies to the public beach access and dropping them off at the stairs each day, but the wagon would be especially useful if you prefer walking everything down and leaving it at the bottom of the steps. We loved the selection of board games provided, including Chess, UNO, OBX Monopoly, Picture Memory, Sliders, and several others. We brought a few of our own games too, but it was a nice bonus. The kitchen was one of the best-stocked kitchens we've had in a rental. We cooked dinner every night and never found ourselves missing a utensil, pot, pan, or kitchen tool. The grill worked great, and it even appeared they had extra propane tanks available if needed. The location was excellent—about a mile from grocery stores, restaurants, mini golf, go-karts, Wings, shopping, and other attractions, making it easy to run errands or enjoy an evening out. My daughter and her boyfriend rented bikes and rode to the beach or the nearby tourist area almost every evening. The bedroom layout worked well for our group. Two of the four bedrooms have private bathrooms, while the other two bedrooms share a bathroom. The beds and pillows were comfortable, which made for great nights of sleep. We also appreciated all the thoughtful extras, including a high chair, Pack 'n Play, baby gate, dog bowls, an iron, and vacuums. Hot tub was also used at night. It is right off the living room on a deck by itself. Nice large size! We truly loved our stay, but we do have a few suggestions that we hope are helpful for the owners: The cleaning company did an okay job, but it could definitely be more thorough. We found some odd trash and clothing left behind in one of the closets, one of the bunk beds had gum stuck underneath the top bunk, and several kitchen cabinet doors needed a good wipe-down. I cleaned a few that had dried sauce on them, but many could still use a more thorough cleaning. The pool area was one of our favorite parts of the home, but it would be even better with two or three additional comfortable lounge chairs and perhaps a small outdoor table to keep drinks, towels, and personal items off the ground. We also noticed a moldy basket stored underneath the pool deck that appeared to have been left by previous guests. It would probably be a good idea to remove it. None of these things took away from our vacation, and we would absolutely stay at Fox Snooze again. The home is spacious, thoughtfully stocked, in a fantastic location, and offers so many amenities that make for a relaxing Outer Banks vacation. We would happily recommend it to other families looking for a comfortable place to stay.

Very Good

Fantastic home, fantastic location, fantastic vacation! We checked in right on time, and found the home to be stunning beautiful, clean, and perfect. House is bright, airy, and beautifully set up. We loved the location. While it is not on the beach, it is an easy and quick walk through the neighborhood to one of the most beautiful OBX beaches we have ever been on. The community tennis courts were beautiful, too. The pool and hot tub were crowd pleasers. We truly had the best vacation ever, and will stay at Fox Snooze again!

Excellent Vacation Home Over all, this was a very good vacation home for us and our 4 kids. The pool was amazing, the house was clean, and had room for all of us. The only thing that I leads me to leave a less than a stellar review is that the lights by the pool were not working and were not fixed while we were there so we couldn't use the pool at night (even though the kids had wanted to). The beach is close but a bit of a walk away and we had to figure out the way there ourselves. Directions would have been nice but we were able to figure it out.

Our new home away from home! My family of 7 enjoyed every minute of our stay at Fox Snooze. From our first day to the last everything was just perfect. The beds were so comfy, the kitchen well stocked and easy to use to cook and eat together, and the pool was refreshing and clean. I am so glad we found this gem in Corolla! We are already dreaming of our vacation next year!

Vacation We stayed at Fox Snooze 8/5-8/12 and had a wonderful stay! I paid for early check in which is to occur by 1pm and I got the message at 1pm that our house was ready for us! We arrived into the OB around 2 so it was perfect timing. The house was very clean and even though it is dog friendly and we bring our dog with us on vacation, it did not smell like any pets at all. Pool was great and very clean! Bike and beach chair rentals were there when we arrived as well. We did end up driving all of our things to the beach every day, which is not a big deal for us.. the walk to the beach took about 10 mins. This is our 2nd year renting with Resort Realty and never had any issues!

Fun in the sun The home had everything we needed for a stay with family- beach toys, kitchen utinsels and plenty of pool time. Recommend cleaning the air filter register in living room, possible updating beach bike/s (had flat tires) and maybe replacing the queen bed on middle floor that sinks in the middle. We loved the pooltable area and again, the pool was fantastic :)

Great vacation home! Overall, no complaints. There were a few issues that I presented to the realty company that were addressed right away. The home is well maintained and comfortable. There were a few items I would have liked in the kitchen that were not stocked (a cookie sheet was the primary thing I missed), but we lacked for very little. Loved the private pool and the hot-tub being up on the third level. Having the dog with us for his first vacation was awesome! While he did not use it, there was a dog bed in the closet. There were lots of things in the closets that would come in handy if you have little ones (booster seat, gate for the stairs, portable play pen) and some really nice convenience and decorative touches, things that one of my friends is going to use in her rental beach house in New Jersey. Some feedback/suggestions (NOT complaints) is some of the bedding covers and shams may need to be replaced, and the couch has a few small tears in the cushions. The pool box needs a good cleaning out. The grill does not have all burners functioning. I realize these sound like complaints- they are NOT, as it did not really impact the quality of the vacation at all. The home is beautiful and very comfortable, and I absolutely would consider staying here again. It is in a quiet, private area but easily within walking distance of the beach and the sidewalk/biking areas to get to the shopping and eating areas. Had a wonderful time in a wonderful home!

Wonderful House Great house for family and pets. House was very clean. Pool was nice size and plenty of room to let the kids play. Only a short walk to the beach.

Beautiful home close to everything! Our family loves the home! Great layout and sparkling clean! The pool and hot tub were big hits with our family too!
