Very Good - some maintenance needed Had a great time in Corolla. The pet/baby gate and doors on wvery deck were fantastic with our toddler. The house worked well for our family and was close to the shops and restaurants. We went at the end of the season, so there were some things that could use some attention. Hot tub had some cracks near the headrest and knob for jets was broken, soft spot on the upper deck, oven door and oven drawer were difficult to open, and they need to get a proper propane grill...the "picnic" grill didn't cut it based on the number of people the house accommodates.

Very Good Our family has stayed in this house many, many times and we absolutely LOVE this house! The house is clean, which is great for a dog friendly house, and has a wonderful selection of movies. Overall, the kitchen is well stocked; I do suggest adding a pair of scissors. We LOVE the pool and hot tub! We did notice that the hot tub chlorine floating actually did not have a chlorine tablet in it. The only disappointment was that the house no longer had a gas grill, only a tiny charcoal grill. We will stay in this house in the future, as it now seems like a home away from home.

Lovely home We had a good time. House was very nice. Plenty of room. We all loved the screened in porch.

Wonderful, clean house with a few outdoor quirks We loved the interior of this rental! It was exceptionally clean, the kitchen had great amenities, and we had zero issues with how the house functioned. The hot tub was also a wonderful perk. ​Our only real complaints were the pool area and the beach distance. The pool deck was covered in dirt, sticks, and debris when we arrived, requiring an hour of heavy sweeping before the kids could swim. The pool was also quite sandy and needs more frequent cleaning, likely due to the tree hanging directly over it. ​For future guests with small children, note that the walk to the beach is quite long. We managed by driving the family/gear to the drop-off point, returning the car to the house, and using a bicycle to get back and forth. ​With a little more attention to the outdoor cleaning, this would be a flawless rental!

Great place to stay, easy access to everything. Close to shops and restaurants. Neighborhood was good, definitely worth having bikes to get to the beach.

We staid at Sunny Side Up for my significant other’s 30th birthday - since he’s a surfer and NC lover. Our stay went perfectly and I couldn’t have been more happy with the place! I will note that previous to packing I had read reviews that said the kitchen was empty and so I packed plates, bowls, utensils, cups, serving ware, pots, pans, cookie sheets, etc. only to find that the kitchen was actually fully loaded! They even supplied a blender which came in handy for frozen margs:) The only things I’d suggest bringing are cleaning supplies (dish soap and sponge, cleaning spray/wipes, paper towels, trash bags, etc) to keep the place clean during your stay, and your own coffee/tea, and cooking seasonings. They do supply a list of items about a week out to bring so I’d go by that and not over pack like I did. Overall the place was tidy and cozy, not too far of a walk from the shore, and located in a peaceful area! It’s also a very dog friendly home, includes a crate and lots of baby gates.

Love this house This is the first house I have been to where I feel like I really didn’t need to bring anything for the kitchen (except scissors, there maybe some but we couldn’t find them LOL). The house is very well stocked, the linens being included is an added bonus! The beds were very comfortable. The house is very well maintained, the owners have done a great job! We had to contact Resort Realty for a few minor issues and their response time was great (one issue was resolved within 30 minutes)! We have rented from another local company and the response was definitely not the same day! We have already reserved this house again for next year and cannot wait!

Excellent Stay House is well stocked. Very quiet culdesac. Easy access to beach. Some people will feel the need to drive. We enjoyed the 7 min walk each day. Walk around lake—- very peaceful and great wildlife. Well maintained home. Loved having our dog there.

Fun family vacation Great house and trip to the outer banks. Loved the area and would definitely recommend. We love that it wasn’t in the middle of everything but an easy drive too. Actually preferred the towns of Duck and Carolla over the more popular busy areas. Will be keeping this in mind for future vacation ideas.

Great home for family vacation We just got back from our week stay and we loved this home. It had everything we needed for a wonderful week in Corolla. We liked that all the bedrooms were on the middle level, but spaced far enough a part for privacy. The one drawback is the beach access is a fairly good walk and wouldn’t be ideal with all your beach gear. We decided to drive to the public parking lot a few minutes away instead. Sadly we didn’t discover the very nearby access location to the lake until almost our last day. Would suggest a map for renters, since the access spot is between two houses and not noticeable from street. The lake was great for walking and our dog loved it too!

Very Good We really enjoyed the home and pool. Our only problem was ants in the kitchen and living room. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable vacation. Thanks

Spring family vacation Very clean and exactly as described. Had everything we needed. I would book this house again.

Review of our week at 1764 Sunny Side Up Everything was GREAT-cleanliness & tidiness. A few suggestions-thought the following should be supplied including some non-perishables: toilet paper-trash bags-dish soap & wand/scrubber-salt/pepper-some type of spray for fry pan like Pam.

A wonderful home! The house was really well appointed. It was exactly like the pictures. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked with everything you would need to cook a delicious meal. Our whole fam ily likes to cook, so we were really appreciative of that. The ;pool was a wonderful addition.....very clean and a good size for even doing a few laps. We loved the home and would definitely go back.

Very Good We have stayed at this house for many years. We LOVE it! The pool and hot tub are awesome. It is a nice walk around the pond to the ocean. In the past we have always loved watching the movies (great movie library!). Unfortunately, this year we could not watch any movies because there was no remote control for the DVD player. Otherwise - this is an excellent beach house and we plan on returning for many years to come!

Sunny side up My family had a great stay and a great time at the house.

Very Good The location vis further from the beach than I would like but the home was beautiful and Resort Realty was responsive to every concern I had. Thank you for making my stay the best it could be.
