3rd year in a row You can’t beat the value for this property given it cleanliness, proximity to the beach, inconvenience of amenities. That is why we have chosen this property for the last three consecutive years as we’ve been to the Outer Banks eight times. Let me start with some nitpicking only because you basically need to because there’s nothing of major concern for you not to rent this property. This year compared to last I’ve noticed the top deck could probably use a good coating. The umbrella available for the round table by the grill has a smoke broken and probably needs to be replaced. Some of the panels on the hot tub are loose and out of place. They added some new furniture outside this year, including six person outdoor wooden table on the top deck. Unfortunately, the top deck is very narrow, and I strongly recommend them repositioning it or moving the storage chest in the center of the deck. It’s very hard to walk by anybody sitting at the table. Now onto the good stuff. Consistently clean and newer home even considering it’s pet friendly. It’s in fantastic condition given the floors and furniture without any damage or excessive hair or fur. The artificial grass surrounding the pool is incredibly convenient and you don’t have to worry about bugs or anything like that or stepping on anything. You can use your Bluetooth to surround sound speakers outside and play music all day by the pool. Hot tub is still in great working condition. All TVs have smart capability, which are great for the kids and the house supplies. You would basic decks of cards and board games as well as a pub table and a second mini refrigerator which comes in the adult beverage area. Bedrooms are all a decent size most with step in closets for adequate space. Less than a quarter mile walk in a small subdivision of a safe neighborhood to get to the beach. I’ve stayed another section of ocean sand and section o is by far one of the nicest ones out there with the more recent homes of traffic, not a lot of overgrown shrubbery. Less than 1.5 miles away is your Timbuktu Plaza with pretty much everything in the town has to offer and Wright across from it is the Food Lion Plaza again with plenty of places to eat, drink, shop. Less than 3 miles back south you have the plaza with the Harris Teeter as well as more places to shop so great central location. Highly recommend just not the week I’m going! 😂

Great stay Backyard/pool area was the nicest we’ve stayed at. Some rentals get a little dirty and have a lot of spiders and cob webs everywhere. This was super clean and lovely for the family. The house it self was awesome. Couldn’t ask for much more definitely a favorite!

Perfect Beach House Sol Mates was the perfect setting for our family vacation-7 adults, 2 children, and 2 small dogs. Plenty of room for everyone with modern decor and many amenities. The walk to the beach was easy, even with lots of beach paraphernalia. We loved the swimming pool and hot tub. The location was very convenient to shopping and activities. We hope to return in the future!

Great Vacation Home! Home has nice furnishings, well stocked, close walk to the beach, and great outdoor spaces. We enjoyed the outdoor deck and pool area.This rental has a cozy feel that our family enjoyed.

Sol Mates Overall it was a gorgeous house, very clean and comfortable with lots of storage and space for everyone. Close walk to the beach and plenty of outside space on the deck, porch and around the pool.

Beautiful House! I went here for a long girls weekend and it was the PERFECT house for us! We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this house. It is close enough to walk to the beach or just relax by the pool or hot tub. The house is new and decorated very nicely with all the upgraded features. The house is located in a new and quite neighborhood and close to restaurants and grocery stores. This is the perfect house for your week or weekend getaway with family and friends! = )

Perfect House! I went with a friend for a quick getaway on a perfect fall weekend. Sol Mates was a gorgeous house in a great location. I'm familiar with the OBX, but had not been up to Corolla area for many years and I fell in love all over again, thanks in a good part to this fabulous house. Sol Mates is beautifully decorated, very comfortable, in a great location. The neighborhood is great, with easy access to the beach (5 minute walk, MAYBE?!). I was there with only one other person, but we spent a lot of time talking about having a return trip with a group of people, Sol Mates is ideal for a family vacation with an abundance of beds, 2 decks, and a pool and a hot tub. I will be back!

Amazing new beach house This beach house was the best I've been to - its brand new and absolutely gorgeous. The rooms are great for accommodating a large party - spread out enough to give everyone their own space but still cozy enough to enjoy time together. The beach was within walking distance and wasn't crowded at all, felt very private. On the day we chose not to go to the beach, the outdoor space was a great replacement. Lounging by the pool during the day & in the hot tub at night. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

Girls Trip We booked this house for a girls trip. The house came fully loaded with all the amenities that we would need. Love the pool area with speakers, so you can just hook your phone up and listen to music. Kitchen/Bedrooms were very spacious and just loved the bathrooms. We had lots of girls, so we needed these big bathrooms for all of us to get ready. It was just a short walk to beach, which made it very convenient. Can't wait to book another week next year.

Sol Mates, you'll leave with cherished memories! This house is just the place for you and your family and friends to have an excellent time at the beach. A quick minute or two walk to the shore was perfect for my family as we like to be closer to the ocean side. With that being said, this house is also located not far from restaurants and a shopping center. The house itself gives off a cozy feel and yet is also spacious to fit everyone's needs. Loved the pool and hot tub as well. Ideal location, excellent amenities, beautiful house all make it worth while. I'm definitely returning and hopefully making it a tradition with my friends and family!

WOW! Sol Mates has quickly become my new go-to beach house! The house is filled with non-stop fun for the entire family. The updated kitchen made cooking meals a breeze. The beach is close by and we also loved the private pool and hot tub. The giant flat screen TV and comfy couch completed our stress free getaway at the beach. We will definitely be coming back!
