Great escape for the family The house did not disappoint. As advertised. Lots of space for my family of 5. Pool worked great for 3 kids all under 10 years old. Quick walk to the beach. Nice quiet neighborhood with everything you need within a 5 minute drive. Would definitely recommend and are planning on coming back next year!
The Cat's Meow was the perfect place for me to experience my first OBX trip. It was close to the beach and other amenities/shops/restaurants which we loved. The actual house was perfect for relaxing. We really enjoyed that they provided board games and puzzles, took us about the whole week to work on the sea turtle one! Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here on your next trip! We will sure be back!

The cats meow We really enjoyed everything about our stay. Location was great and the amenities were as well. Very clean and stocked with plenty of clean linens. The only thing that bummed us out was the grill was unusable due so much old grease and not being cleaned. Over all we loved it and will book again next year.
Guys had a blast on our trips to the 4wd beach The beach home was nice, clean, and a short walk to the beach! It was the perfect size for our group.

Wonderful place! We had a great week at The Cat’s Meow. It was a short walk to the beach AND to a great huge fishing pond. The pool is great size for a group and the pool table on the bottom level made it easy to keep things quiet for the upper levels/bedrooms.
Good location, nice game room and pool area. Parking is very light. I wouldn’t suggest bringing more than 2 or 3 cars. Security kept having issues with us parking in front of the home driveway to try to fit all 4 of our cars in. Also, the neighborhood does not allow golf carts or trailers. I highly suggest reading the neighborhood rules before you book. Dishwasher needs to be replaced. Owner has lots of beach items.. chairs, wagons, etc. to take to the beach. That was a great add! We also loved the cat theme in the cottage.

The Cat's Meow We had a fabulous time at The Cat’s Meow. We loved spending time in the pool and the walk to the beach was manageable. Beds were super comfy. It is so nice that the linens are provided. Thank you for helping to make our grandson’s first trip to the seashore a memorable one!

Great time! Beautiful and well equipped home. We really enjoyed all the extras provided such as beach cart, chairs, and sand toys. The pool was great as well as the hot tub. It was a quick trip to l oh local shops. We would definitely stay here again!
