Excellent House was very clean; well-stocked kitchen; comfortable beds; close to beach. Thank you for providing children's items (port a crib and baby utensils and baby books). Suggest offering an earlier check in time than 6:00 pm, too late arrival time with babies. Also suggest having larger casserole dish for lasagna. Also suggest having a queen bed instead of double bed on first level.

Dune Buggy met all our expectations, and then some! Dune Buggy is a wonderful home; beautifully decorated, super comfortable, with plenty of space for the entire family. It’s in a great location, a short walk to the beach, a short bike ride to shops and restaurants, and a short drive to museums and national parks. A fridge on the ground floor made for the perfect beverage fridge, and the 2 dishwashers made cleanup super easy. The pool and hot tub at the house were a nice start to the day, and a lovely end to the day. Even the outside shower was nice! The screened in porch off the kitchen was so nice too! Dinners outside are always a treat as the evenings usually cool off. We just can’t say enough and can’t wait to rebook!

Six adults + nine kids + beach house = amazing week D'OBX was perfect for our needs. Our group was three families with nine kids between us. This home had plenty of space, dishes, etc., was clean, and had everything we were looking for. Our only suggestions for improvement are fairly minor: there was no outdoor grill, the kitchen garbage can lids were broken, and all the mugs were plastic 🤷 We're likely returning next year!
Excellent family getaway! D'OBX was the perfect location for my group of 13 (7 adults and 6 children). The location made it especially easy to shuffle the kids and gear to and from the beach several times a day, and the pool and hot tub were welcome additions for when the group had had enough sun for the day but still wanted some water fun. The open kitchen allowed for multiple adults to work on meals together and having two dishwashers was a lifesaver when it came to clean up time. There was never a line for the bathroom with a total of five available and the washer and dryer helped us keep things neat and tidy. The house had ample room for the families to have their own spaces for bedtime routines, yet was more than accommodating for our nightly family dinners, movie nights and game nights. This was our first attempt at a whole family vacation and D'OBX has set the bar high for future adventures!
10/10 This property was clean, well organized, inviting, in a great location, and overall just perfect for a getaway. The pool was lovely, clean and cold which was perfect for the hot weather. The hot tub fit 6 comfortably and was great having it on the second floor. The screened in porch was a plus as well for dinners on the deck without many bugs. Will be coming back again

Great House, Great Location Enjoyed this very well laid-out house. Walked to shopping and dining. Close to the water. Almost like having three apartments with living spaces on each of three floors. Put kids on ground floor so they could make noise, then adults up higher and we never heard the kids playing.
