Great location, right on the sound! Our family had a wonderful time in this very comfortable home.

We all loved the property and enjoyed our stay.

The house was nice, had lots of space for our family, and beautiful views of the sound. The outdoor space was great to have too, plenty of room for the kids to run or play in the pool.

Great home in a great location It was our first time going to OBX and Captain Jacks did not disappoint overall. The house was in a nice quiet neighborhood off the main rd. It was in a perfect location, close enough to beaches, stores but far enough away from all the hoopla. The rooms were good size and the kitchen was plenty big for the 10 of us. It was great to sit out on the top balcony in the morning to have coffee and at evening to watch the sun set. The pool was clean and warm and we spent everyday in it. Two negatives, was the amount of spiders, spiderwebs inside the house and the cleanliness of the outside windows and siding. The check in and out process was easy and stress free. Would use resort realty again.

reflections The location and the view are fantastic with nice outdoor activities available. The pool was a good respite from the heat. We were surprised at the worn down indoor furniture. The house seemed a lot more worn than what we had imagined from the photos but it wasn't a big deal to adapt to. We had a lovely week and would stay here again.

Captain Jack's never disappoints. This was our 5th year staying at Captain Jack's, although we had a few minor issues our stay was wonderful. The only complaint is that the TV didn't work. They had to send Spectrum out to fix. It took 4 days until it was fixed. With older adults who rely on TV as nighttime entertainment this was a challenge. Captain Jack'S has everything we need in a vacation home, great view, great house, close to beach. We will stay here again next summer.

Awesome Vacation Once again Captain Jack's did not disappoint us for our family vacation. We were happy to see some improvements from the new range, and dishwasher to the new furniture. All making our stay just perfect. This home is just so wonderful and each year we stay here is better than the next.

Captain Jack's We had a nice stay. The house had everything we needed and was maintained nicely for an older styled house.

Wonderful house! We had a wonderful stay. The house was beautiful and packed with things to do. We've always stayed oceanside in years past, but the views from the backyard were spectacular every night. So peaceful and perfecting for kayaking. We loved it here and made memories. I would definitely want to stay here again on a future visit!

Excellent This has been our 2nd year staying at Captain Jack's and we love everything about this house. We enjoy the Sound front, the amenities that that house offers for our family. There is something for everyone from crabbing in the Sound to playing late night hours of pool in the gameroom. This house is spacious and beautiful and it just makes our vacation 100% complete

Loved the soundfront pool! We absolutely loved the sound front lot and pool! The Monterey Shores development was quiet and the staff was great which were pluses as this was our first time in this development!
