Mellow Yellow great location We had six guests for one week at Thanksgiving and enjoyed the beachfront location. There were plenty of decks and chairs to view the ocean, and the hot tub was great for the colder days/nights. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and there were multiple large tables for dining or puzzles. We also enjoyed the ping pong table in the rec room and having an on site laundry. The kitchen is a little outdated, but it was clean and worked out well for us. Beds were comfortable, all linens were provided. Loved the Corolla area, with two grocery stores very close by and the wild horse tour with Corolla Outback Adventures was excellent.

Wonderful location, clean and comfortable house! We very much enjoyed our stay and will be back again next year!

Great property My family had a great week

ClarkLett Corolla Location was great, very nice beach. Home was what we expected, very spacious. AC on one floor had to be replaced during our stay. Our first stay in Corolla, beautiful place. Need to be prepared for traffic leaving at checkout time and arrival time.

We had the best time. Everything was great. My Husband and I just stayed with our German Shepherd. We had the best time. Everything was great. We will definitely visit the outer banks again!

Excellent Clean, comfortable, location is great, close to beach and stores. Beach was clean and inviting. Appliances all worked. Really enjoy the screened-in porch with table & chairs. Had to call maintenance with a plumbing problem, but he arrived quickly and fixed it. Had to call for WiFi because we couldn't get connected, but the rep on the phone walked us through it so it was easily fixed. Appreciate all the help from Resort Realty through the year, also the ease with checking in and checking out.

Very Good Enjoyed our Stay!! We enjoyed our one week stay. Our place was clean and maintained. We had a perfect view of the morning sunrise everyday with this oceanfront property. We stayed at the beach all day, everyday...it was amazingly private. This property well located. The Corolla historic area and lighthouse are nearby and several restaurants are just minutes away. We could walk to a large supermarket and shopping areas if we wanted to, and did! And to top it off we had all 3 of our dogs (we lost one earlier this year) so we would have had all 4 dogs with us. The roads are relatively flat for biking, walking and jogging. We have been staying at Mellow Yellow for years now because of these amenities and plan on doing it again next year!!! Great Vacation Property was in a great location, easy access to everything needed. Direct access to the beach and the views are fantastic. We do recommend.

Very Good Great proximity to beach and to shops. Clean and ready at 4 pm, just as advertised. Beds made, hot tub prepared, good size and number of bedrooms. Pleased with quick response from Resort Realty when we had to contact them. Enjoyed hot tub and use of BBQ. Have rented this house for about 5 years.

Excellent Location, Dog Friendly Our family decided on a very last-minute vacay this summer so we had set expectations that ocean front would not be available or affordable. We were surprised to see this house available on the exact week we needed - perhaps a re-rent – not sure but it was available. After a quick discussion with staff at Resort Reality to confirm amenities, we booked the house because it was ocean front and offered at a really good price. Overall, we rate the house as Very Good primarily due to location. This is a very old house with some updates inside such as flooring (LVP) which was another factor in our decision to rent this house. The house is very dated inside, but everything was functional. The multiple refrigerators were nice too. The washer and dryer are located on the ground floor in a room that is separate from the main house. While that was a small inconvenience, they both worked well. The house was ready by 4pm on check in day but could have been cleaner overall. We did address this with housekeeping, and they responded immediately – much to our surprise within the hour! Thank you, RR Housekeeping. Overall, we had a great time staying at this location.

Location, location, location House has the best location and it was clean. Appreciate the bedding being on the beds this year, as we had to make the beds ourselves last year. Also last year there were tons of flies in the house, this year it wasn’t the case. Some small things to improve upon: plastic lawn furniture- a lot of it was broken and unusable. The house could include a couple trash bags, hand soap, dish detergent, and dishwasher detergent. It’s shocking that these small things are included considering the price tag of the rental. All in all, we love the house because of perfect location and will look into returning in the future . Thanks

Incredible house We have stayed in numerous houses in the OBX but this will be the last. This house has a very good floor plan and an outstanding location. We would have already booked for next year but we are not certain on the week. The house was clean, updated and had plenty of room for our 10 people. The beds were also very comfortable.

Wonderful house right on the beach I would recommend this house to anyone. Very spacious with lots of windows. Great hot tub. It was very clear and nicely decorated. The decks were a great place to sit, drink coffee/tea and look at the beautiful ocean.

Great location. Best beach around. Allows dogs. Three refrigerators! House has been updated. Still opportunities for a few more upgrades. Laundry is in a separate section, a little inconvenient.
