Beach house We really enjoyed our stay at this beach house. The location was great—just steps from the beach—but it would be helpful if it was more clearly marked that it’s a private beach access. The house itself has a lot of space, which worked perfectly for our group, but it could definitely use a more thorough cleaning. The kitchen had the basics, but more supplies and cookware would make it much easier for guests who want to cook meals at home. Overall, it’s a nice spot with good potential, just a few updates and improvements would make it even better.

1509 Sandpiper This house is great for a family with grandchildren! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, beach access was outstanding. PROS: The house is very clean. Access to the beach is perfect. The vacuum cleaner was a lot of help. We vacuum just about every day. The bunk beds were excellent for the grandkids. The proximity to Food Lion and restaurants was wonderful. Once you arrive there is no need to go anywhere else until it’s time to go back home. CONS: The kitchen could use sharp knives and more forks. There needs to be more kitchen utensils, like spatulas,pizza cutter,etc to do basic cooking. There are some soft boards on the decks that need to be replaced. The lower glass shelving in the refrigerator that covers the vegetable bins are missing. Overall we were very pleased with this home. We would consider staying here again

Amazing Rental! The location of this house is absolutely perfect. Easy beach access and ocean views. The house itself is spacious and lovely. We especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub!! Our dog loved the big yard! Can’t wait to stay here again.

Sandpiper Great house with a great location! Was very clean. Could use more equipment in the kitchen for cooking such as tuners and pans. The private beach access is so nice but needs cleaned up due to it being over grown.

Great casual beach house We made a late decision to take a family vacation (including the family doges) at the beach for a multi-generational Thanksgiving. We wanted a beach house that was comfortable, casual, allowed dogs and as close to the beach as possible. The Sandpiper was all of those things. The private beach path and gazebo (directly across the street from the house) with access to the amazing beach and the ocean views from the deck are a major plus. The backyard is huge and made a great field for playing lacrosse and walking the dogs. The kitchen is very well organized with everything we needed for cooking and serving. The dining room and living room were perfectly situated next to the kitchen with comfortable furniture. The bedrooms are large and having the beds already made upon arrival was really nice. We are not Roku users so instructions for the tv would have been helpful (the World Cup and college sports we wanted to watch would freeze every so often and then go off). This was a great place for a memorable Thanksgiving at Corolla!

Great house, great location This house is in a great location, you can see the ocean from the dining room and it has private beach access right across the street. The living area is the largest we've ever found in a beach house which was great for a winter rental when we spent more time inside. Well appointed kitchen for cooking, comfortable bed, overall an excellent property.

Perfect Beach House Perfect 5 bdrm beach house in a great location right across the street from the ocean. It has its own private beach access with a gazebo on the beach. The house includes a hot tub right next to the built-in pool, and its within "spitting distance" of groceries and shopping. There's enough parking space for about 5-6 cars and a large yard to let the dogs run. There are a lot of stairs to the top floor living area. Bedrooms are on the 2nd floor and a wrap around deck also links all the floors. The amount of stairs may be a challenge for the elderly or those less able to get around.
