Whalehead stay was everything we hoped for Windswept more than met our expectations. The house was clean and very well equipped. The owners (Steve and Cathy)obviously put a lot of thought into the decor. It is very homey and relaxing. Lots of small extras that we didn't expect (e.g. hand soap, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent) as well as a gift card that we used at a local restaurant. Our grandkids loved the house and the pool. The only downside was that while the pool company checked the pool for chlorine and water levels we did note some cleanliness issues (one side of the pool had a film on it where previous guests had written their names with their fingers).

Wonderful Week My family had an amazing week at Windswept!! The house was one of the cleanest we ever stayed in at the Outer Banks! The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed to cook for the week! The distance to the beach was a short walk! Would definitely book again! Excellent Coming to different houses in OBX for over 20 years. This house tops our list. Well taken care of and has anything you'd need in the kitchen. Bedrooms are huge and the pool and hot tub are great. Actually can say when we come back again we will try our best to find a time that this house is available. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely home and stay The home is lovely, spacious, comfortable, close to the beach and has a well equipped kitchen. You can see and hear the ocean from the upper deck and even see the sunrise. The pool and hot tub were really nice amenities too. My only recommendation would be improved WiFi. Our family had a great vacation together and we treasure our sweet memories at Windswept!

Windswept We enjoyed our stay very much. The distance to the beach was great and the kitchen had everything we needed! Some things in the home were outdated, but functional. The pool needed painting, but that didn’t bother us.

Everything for vacation all wrapped into one The house was perfect. Everything you could need was in the house. We had three theme nights and everything you would need for cooking is there. I would have planned more if I had known. There was every kind of baking pan for cakes and cupcakes to crockpots and food processor. There is a Keurig for coffee so bring your pods. I had asked prior and was told there was a Mr. coffee maker so we didn’t bring our pods. They left us a gift upon our arrival which was a surprise and very appreciated. The walk to the beach is short which is great for quick trips to the beach throughout the day. Very nice vacation. We had 6 adults and 1 child and we all had a great time.

October vat Windswept We really enjoyed our stay at Windswept! It was very bright and cheery inside. We were happy with the cleanliness overall. We liked the short walk to the beach , very convenient. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to make a nice dinner. We would definitely love to rent this place again! We Love this House. Windswept is just the perfect house. We just returned from our second year at this property and we hope we can make it back next year as well. The smaller size, the high quality details and the proximity to the beach access are just a few of the things we love about this home. The outdoor deck and yard space is peaceful and the bedrooms are perfect for our family. Everything is so well cared for in this home and that has made our visits perfectly comfortable. Thank you to the owners for caring so much for your home and your guests!

Love this house! This is our 3rd year staying at Windswept, and we've already pre-booked for 2022. The house is very comfortable and roomy, the kitchen well-stocked, and we love the pool and hot tub. It's obvious the owner's really care about this house. LOVE the new keyless entry!

Third year rental Hello, Very clean and updated. this is our third repeat year. Great location from beach access and Kitchen stocked... I am hoping to retrieve some clothing items that I left in a drawer in the bedroom overlooking pool area.... That would make me very happy. AS far as the house goes if we are able we will be back again next year... I appreciate the gift card too from the owners, A very nice gesture and greatly appreciated. I think the excellent rating says it all!!

Excellent The Windswept is great vacation home. My family and I had an awesome time and the house has everything a family could want! The only issue we had is the WIFI was not working but other than that I would definitely recommend this home to spend vacation in!

Paradise !! This is our second year at Windswept and once again I have already pre booked for 2021. It sure gives us all something to strive for. Very clean and accommodating and well stocked . we will come as long as we are able. Thank you!

Excellent This is our family's second year in Windswept and we hope to return again. The amenities and condition of the home show the great amount of care and pride the owners take in it. The close proximity to the beach access walkway and gorgeous views from the top deck put Windswept at the top of our favorite OBX homes list.

Beautiful home! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Windswept and it had everything we hoped for - comfortable beds, great location, awesome decks, pool and hot tub, great kitchen supplies, just to name a few! The owners clearly love this house and it really showed. We'll be back!!

Amazing! It was wonderful,so clean so perfect. Close to the Beach. The decorations were so tastefully done and each room was so cheerful.. even my three and four year old grandchildren were crying when we left.. So the adults were not alone on that one!! Thank you for everything!! We are coming back and will book now for 2020!

Very nice home! Very nice home and very clean! The pictures on the website do not do it justice. Great outdoor area for little kids and a nice pool area. We would rent this home again!
