Great week at WhaleSpray Loved the house, great location. The house needs some tender loving care, a bit out dated. it is well equipped.

Another excellent stay at Whale Spray This is our seventh stay at Whale Spray, and we continue to love it. The location in Whalehead Beach is great - very close to historic Corolla and a short drive to the supermarket, shopping areas, restaurants to the south. The gazebo is probably one of the best features - many homes have an open dunetop deck but not a shaded gazebo. Some places have a gazebo for shade but it is closer to the home with no view of the ocean. The shaded gazebo at Whale Spray is a perfect view of the beach & ocean, especially for watching the sunrise!

Another amazing week! This is the 6th time we have stayed here, and Whale Spray never disappoints! Every room faces the ocean and gets treated to a view of the sunrise, and the gazebo is perfectly placed on top of the dune for a perfect view of the waves crashing while enjoying the shade.

Whale Spray August 2022 Great house, great location! Loved the amenities and easy, private beach access! The entire family had a blast the whole week and it was an amazing vacation!

Best week of every year! I believe in the last 16 years there was only one year that we did not spend a week at Whalespray! I think that says it all! The views from everywhere on this property are amazing! Of course our favorite is the gazebo. We look forward to the next 16 years!

FANTASTIC PLACE We had a great week. The house was just as pictured and was very well stocked. Could use a little updating but we were not there for the house we were there for the beach and it did not disappoint. We had 12 people who all comfortably stayed for the week. Will be staying here again.

beautiful week! This was our 16th year staying at Whalespray! We love every minute of our weeks!!! We appreciate the occasional upgrades to the house and the new decking and walkways. The addition of the sand volleyball and beanbags were great last year.  We hope to enjoy 16 more years there!!! Thank you!

Beautiful views! There is a lot to like about this home. We most enjoyed the views...especially from the covered dune top deck. What a treat! The kitchen was well equipped and the great room TV and sound system were a nice touch. Whale Spray is an older home and could do with a few upgrades but overall provides good value for the money.

Awesome Home This house was awesome. The only negative I can say is that the sticks coming up through the sand on the volleyball court and cornhole area hurt your feet. Needed shoes in this area. When I’m at the beach I like to go without shoes, if I can. Other than that the house was well stocked and had everything you would need. I took my griddle, cookie sheets, and 13x9 pan to bake in. Didn’t need them this year because house had all them plus crock pots and pots and pans to cook for an army. View was phenomenal, the deck out to beach with gazebo was amazing. The pool was great. All the decks and seating available outside was great. Very roomy house. The view from the loft area was amazing. Oh and the speaker system and the audio system in the house was great. We also had an awesome dinner bell to ring in the house. We will definitely return to whale spray in Corolla. Love love love this house.

Whalespay...home away from home! We have stayed here every year (except 1) for 14 years! It feels like home to us! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to rent this wonderful spot :-)

Great Oceanfront Location Our original reservation at the Caribbean Queen had to be transferred due to storm surge damage. The house we were moved to, Whale's Spray, is a nice house in a great oceanfront location with direct access to the beach from the deck. It worked very well for us as one family member is sight impaired. We enjoyed the vacation which otherwise would have been a disaster or cancelled due to the damage to the house we reserved. That said, the home needs some TLC. The home needs some upgrades, but I'm grateful that the house was available and my vacation wasn't cancelled.
