Wonderful place to stay We loved staying at the Enchantment By the Sea. We loved the closeness to the beach access, Timbuktu and groceries. The beach was nice until the nor'easter came in, but even that was an experience for these Ohio people.<br /> We can't wait to come back.
Beautiful House - Great Distance to Beach! My family had a wonderful, relaxing week! Large pool, 6 bedrooms, and a stone’s throw from the beach access, you can’t beat it! Loved having two dishwashers so we could run one while loading up the other. The rooms are good sizes! We understand we arrived in one of the last weeks of the busy summer season, so the house could use a little TLC after the in and out all summer with some of the house, but no complaints at all, just an observation :)
Great Home! We were extremely satisfied. The size, layout and separate living spaces were perfect for large groups. Well stocked and clean. Access to beach is awesome!!
Loved this house! We LOVED staying at this house. The location was perfect, just one lot back and right across the street from the beach access. The house was huge, way bigger than it seemed in pictures. We really enjoyed the large kitchen and living area, and the pool area is very private.
Year 3 We rented this house again for the third year in a row, so that alone speaks for itself as we've been coming to OBX for 10+ years. This house is in an excellent location-beqxh access is directly across the road yet it's not adjacent to public parking so the beach is not as crowded as some access spots. Plenty of parking in the driveway. The house itself is laid out well-bedrooms are all good size. There's a second living room on the bedroom floor that works great for overflow sleeping space for teenagers, etc. The pool is a great size based on the size of the house-we've rented other places that the house is huge and the pool is not... Kitchen is well stocked with cookware-alao, aptly stocked for cooking for a crowd too. Two dishwashers. Crock pot, waffle maker, toaster, toaster oven, quality skillets, pots, pans, etc. Any cookii/grilling utensils you could need. The owners have been great about thinking of everything -we don't usually use the grill much bc we bring a Blackstone, but the propane is always full and ready. The beach chairs this year are new (4). Large hot tub in great shape. Two outdoor showers that are huge. Plenty of hoses to rinse sand off before going inside. Helpful hint: The pool stays sunny all day long-I think it's great but some of our people seek some shade. We brought an extra beach tent and see it up on the pool deck and it perfectly shades some of the deck and a portion of the shallow end in the pool. There's nothing negative on this review, because there's nothing negative about this house! Thanks again to Paul and Laura for another great year in your property! Jen, Kyle, and families.
Fantastic Family Retreat Beautiful accommodations with incredible space for a family of 14 to feel extremely comfortable. The property has perfect proximity to the Tuna Beach boardwalk to make beach access a breeze. The pool is bigger than most of the pools we have had in the past. Our family loved the property and had a fantastic time at the OBX.

Coming back next year!! Excellent house! We stayed again this year-we're a group with ages from babies to grandparents. This house is well suited for all of our needs. The kitchen is very well stocked with cookware, dishes, etc for a crowd. Double dishwashers. A/C wasn't working in one wing of the house, the owner gave us a heads up, and Resort Realty temporarily put in window units t worked great! Pool great, hot tub great. There's a second living room/den that is HUGE, and great overflow space for teens. New fridge upstairs,plus extra fridge on entry floor. Washer and dryer are also very large, washtub in laundry sink. Beach access is extremely close, some beach chairs available at the house too! The ONLY problem last year was an I'll placed cactus plant, and it's since been removed. If you're considering staying here, DO IT!
OBX 2024 We have vacationed many times in OBX. This has been our favorite house. The house was beautiful, clean and extremely spacious. Being directly across from the beach access was so nice and easy to set up for the day. The rental company was fantastic to work with.

Wonderful House The house was as advertised, *spacious*, and great for our multi-family stay. Our young children loved all of the space to play, including the little boardwalk that borders the house. While the house isn't oceanfront, it literally couldn't be closer to the beach entrance so was more than manageable even with small children.
Excellent This house fit our crowd perfectly. The layout is fantastic, top floor is for gathering, and middle floor is quiet for sleeping. The pictures of room size are accurate, it IS as large as it appears. The second living room doubled as sleeping space for kid overflow. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware for a crowd also. The ONLY thing we didn't love is the cactus plant outside of the pool area. Shoes are an absolute must. We loved this house so much we rented it for next year before we left.
