Location in Watercolor is perfect ! Separate carriage house makes room for several families .

We had a blast! House is big with plenty of room for all the family. Also in a great location.

Perfect location, home could have been better We booked this rental 24 hours before check in when we decided to extend our stay in Watercolor another week and the home we were staying in wasn’t available. The price was great, but after staying there, I can see why. The Good: The property management group, Scenic Stays, was awesome in communicating with us and helping us get into the home ASAP since our booking was so tight. The location is great! Close to Seaside, the Watercolor pools and amenities, and the beach. The size of the house is great for a large group or family traveling with older children/grandparents. Especially with the carriage house with its own private entrance. The Bad: - Iron missing in the main house - Ice maker didn’t work - Floors weren’t clean/mopped, the first night our feet were black after a few minutes of walking around after showering - Various lights didn’t work, including in the laundry room so it was nearly impossible to do laundry if it wasn’t fully light outside. Same out back where the grill is located, either we couldn’t figure out how to turn the lights on or they were burnt out, either way, we had to use the flashlight on our phones to grill at night. - The bikes are a hazard and should be trashed. They rattle while riding them and feel like they are just one bump shy of falling apart completely. We ended up renting bikes because we didn’t feel safe using the ones provided. - There was no water hose outside to wash up feet/beach supplies before coming inside

Lost watch If you all found a ladies watch, I seem to have lost one. It’s a small citizens brand. Thank you. The house was very roomy and accommodating. We did have several roaches in the kitchen. Your company was very prompt at our requests and getting the children’s wristbands there.

Nice basic home We had a great week staying at this home. It was comfortable and perfect for our family. There were a handful of issues when we first arrived but the property management company, Scenic Stays was truly incredible. I would skip reserving this home on VRBO and save yourself the booking fee by booking directly with Scenic Stays. VRBO was extremely difficult to work with and just kept referring us to Scenic Stays. The staff at Scenic Stays was exceptional and went out of their way to fix things. The bikes need to be updated or replaced and it would be nice if there were a few chairs and umbrellas. Other than that it was a great house with a great location. We would stay here again.

Family vacation We loved this property. It’s close to camp watercolor and the courtyard. We would stay their again.

LOVE the carriage house!! This house was ideal for our Watercolor vacation with our teenage son and his 4 friends! They had their own space with the apartment above the garage AND the whole upstairs! We were so happy had 5 bikes for them! It was the perfect location - Beach Club access and easy bike ride to Seaside! Any house concerns (alarm, AC) were promptly addressed and fixed asap. My only recommendations for improvements would be a comfy sofa on the beautiful screened porch and some pictures on walls inside to add more character. It was newly remodeled so everything new and updated and pristine!:)

Senior girls fall break trip 2024 Ice machine was broken and the house smelled musty and there were little gnats in the kitchen.

New years stay We loved the space! Very roomy and great location. Just behind the Seaside Chapel!

Great Location! Excellent location and spacious stay. Communication with property management was just OK. We requested an extra beach wristband and never received the wristband or a follow up message. The home could also use more kitchen ware (glasses/plates etc). But overall it was a great home and fit our needs of having multiple couples staying together. We would definitely book here again.

Relaxing trip Even though it was very cold and occasionally stormy during our stay so we really didn’t get to enjoy a lot of the activities offered, we loved our stay at the house on Lake District! Easy 8 minute walk to shops and food. 12 minute walk or 3 minute drive to beach access. About a 1-2 minute walk to nature trails. We even saw deer a couple of times in the neighborhood! The house was clean and spacious. Only things I can say we could have used that the house didn’t have: - a few clothes hangers in the closets - a porch swing! Also, parking two larger vehicles in the parking spots in front the garage is a tight squeeze. I recommend just getting a parking pass to parallel park the second vehicle.

Amazing location, Spacious, Only minor complaints This location was perfect for our group of 10 tennis ladies. Courts for Watercolor Tennis & 30A Tennis are practically in the backyard! And walking to Seaside square is super convenient and simple. There is a trail that leads from the backyard almost directly south to Seaside shops & restaurants. 4 bikes were included with the stay. Spacious living and dining areas, and huge porch that worked great for our group. Only complaints were that it needed more dishes, glasses & coffee cups for our large group, and the outlets to bathrooms weren't working when we arrived...the maintenance crew had to come reset them. Also, the cottage house above the garage had a musty odor, the blinds weren't working, and the pull-out couch in that room didn't seem to be cleaned regularly. Other than that, it truly was a wonderful place and we would stay there again!

Good Location for Beach Club The pluses for us (7 adults, 1 four year old and two 22-month olds) was location and wrap-around porch. The negatives were 1)no wifi in carriage house/garage apt and adult son who traveled from NYC for a working vacation had to use the porch to work during the day as the family area is small in this house and all other bedrooms were taken up; thankfully wifi in house was good, 2) no garage access and very, very short driveway, car had to be parked crossways, which took a Houdini parking act with our Suburban, 3) poorly equipped and disorganized kitchen utensils and pots and pans , though thankfully appliances worked, 4) house was clean upon arrival but giant hairball was stopping up one of the baths upstairs which had no drain cover. The listing online was not up-to-date, but when I called property management they were apologetic and prompt in updating the listing and giving us tips on how to handle reduced parking. Overall, I would look for another house for our group next year, though we had a fun visit at Watercolor.

Location! The location of this home is fabulous! An easy walk to Seaside or 5 minute bike ride to the Watercolor Beach!!

We had a great stay! The neighborhood was amazing and the Watercolor trolley made it super convenient to get to/from the beach. The house was great for our big family and the bikes were a nice touch.

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Watercolor. We were in town for my son’s wedding at Seaside Chapel. The home came with all the amenities, arm bracelets for all activities in Watercolor, was spotless and plenty of room for everyone. The space was well thought out and perfect for our group! The bikes were such a nice touch and we were able to utilize them to get to many places. Great location and close to everythjng.

Wonderful house

We really enjoyed our week at Watercolor! The house was able to comfortably accommodate our extended family (3 family units with small kids and the grandparents). It was so nice having a separate bathroom for each bedroom. The carriage house was easily accessible and had extra space with a couch bed and kitchenette. The central living room and dining room/kitchen were perfect for hanging out when not at the beach, and we loved the screened in porch during the evenings (especially during rainstorms). While it was a bit of a walk to the Watercolor beach and pools, the amenities were amazing and we absolutely loved both pool areas - the kids had a blast. The Watercolor trolley was easy to call (although didn’t run before 9am) and renting a 6-seater golf cart was easy as well. It was a very short walk to Seaside and we spent several evenings there. Overall loved this property - great setup for our family, clean and well-maintained, and awesome amenities for a fun trip. We will definitely consider staying again in the future!

Great location, easy check in, nice porch area. Road in front is busy and can be loud. Beds were comfortable.

The house is lovely and our stay was fine. Note, there is nothing here like salt or pepper, screw driver. Some mixed color downlighting was a bit sloppy and took away from the ambiance a little. The biggest problem was the fact that several of the window shades were broken and couldn’t be rolled up—4 or 5 important windows! The house is under the trees. This limited the opportunity to enjoy the views and left the spaces dark. These have obviously been broken for some time. Maintenance stopped by to tell us the replacements have an 8 week lead time. For the price of these, the shades should work. Felt like corner cutting. The chains dropped frequently on the house bikes. We requested a wrench to tighten the wheels. Nothing showed up. Not particularly responsive. I guess you don’t have to be in Seaside.

Beautiful Property, Very Convenient Location We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Even though it is in a busy area, it is next to a pretty wooded area. It was fun to walk the nearby paths, and we could quickly get to Seaside. The kitchen was well equipped, and the beds and pillows were comfortable. There were just a few minor inconveniences: 1) We did not have the correct WiFi information, so we had to get that. 2) There was a Keurig coffee machine, but I brought mine from home because the listing said there was only a regular coffee machine. 3) It was a little difficult navigating the different parties required to use the property: VRBO, the Watercolor Community (for parking and amenity passes), the Scenic Stays Guest 24/7 app (for checkin/checkout/messages during our stay), and the Watercolor Trolley app (for transportation around the property). 4) The trash bins outside had not been picked up before our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we would stay here again!

13 Western Lake Dr The pros of this house is the great location. The square is steps away which makes it very convenient to dining and shopping. Cons were we weren’t given door code & had to get it from cleaners. Wristbands for beach weren’t activated living room lights didn’t work One bike didn’t work

Great House The house was great and we really enjoyed the amenities of the neighborhood! Only complaint would be that the toilet downstairs would not work properly and also the breaker tripped and we had to fix it. Also the A/C was not working properly when we got there but the team was very quick and responsive to fix it. Other than those small issues we enjoyed our stay and loved the house.

Great house Excellent host! The ice maker in the fridge/freezer appliance was not working or the iron. Scenic Stays had a counter top ice maker and new iron delivered to the house the very next day! Great location for accessing Seaside restaurants and Watercolor restaurants/beach. Loved all the amenities of Watercolor. The house was clean, comfortable beds/linens/pillows. Highly recommend!

Great location Great location between Beach Club and Camp Watercolor and very walkable to Seaside. House is comfortable, parking was a little tight as the driveway is not deep enough for SUV’s. Overall a great stay.

Great Stay Overall, this house is fantastic -- we loved the layout, porch, location proximity to Seaside and Watercolor amenities, comfortable beds, and ample space. The older kids loved having their own space in the separate carriage house above the garage. Our only complaints are that the kitchen desperately needs new cookware (pots, pans, bakeware are all garage sale quality with Teflon coating falling off, etc.) and the ice maker in the kitchen didn't work, and the house should be better stocked with toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and toiletries for a house rental at this price point. The initial supplies of materials were the most meager that I have ever seen in a VRBO. However, fantastic experience overall.

Kitchen/supplies need attention We had a great stay overall, but it’s time to invest some money in new cookware (the pots and pans are ready to be thrown out), the coffee pot lid is broken, the dishwasher dry function does not appear to work, and the icemaker in the kitchen fridge doesn’t work. Additionally, I have never stayed at a VRBO that was so skimpy on supplies - toiletries, toilet paper, cleaning stuff, trash bags, laundry detergent should be supplied at this price point. Again, great stay, but attention is needed for these issues.

Beautiful House but no Power No power for our entire stay in the master bedroom. We contacted the manager many times and they attempted to come fix with no success. Disappointed for the price per night.

Watercolor Check in did not go smoothly- but the manager was helpful and we had no issues for the rest of the stay. We even extended our stay one night. Thanks, Scenic Stays

Great House/Not great parking The house and location was perfect! I drive a suburban and it would not fit in the driveway of the house so I had to park on the street in front. The parking spot in front of the house is not guaranteed but we were able to save it each time I left the house. If you rent this house and are taking two large vehicles, parking will be an issue.

A few issues. The house was in a great spot. When we got there the internet was down and a person was sent out to immediately help. When the issue could not be resolved a hot spot was brought out that never worked. Based upon this none of the TVs in the any of the bedrooms worked. Dishwasher never worked, so we were forced to hand clean dishes all weekend. I will say that staff was responsive and very helpful otherwise.

House was dirty Floors were dirty. House appeared to be cleaned in a hurry as there were small pieces of trash left behind especially on the floor.

Great house The location is great and the house has wonderful spaces both indoor and porch space. The floors were dirty upon arrival and the bottoms of our feet were black from the floor. In addition, the guest house had a very musty smell.

Beautiful It was the perfect distance from Seaside. And the Beach Club was stunning!

Great little property The house was perfect for us. Nice gathering spaces and a cozy enclosed wraparound patio that we used one evening while it was raining. Good location. Excellent communication via text/email from property mgmt company. Master bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! This house was wonderful. Exactly as advertised, with quick access to downtown, Camp Watercolor or the Watercolor Beach Access. Property manager communicated perfectly, we never had any unanswered questions and they were quick to be available. We hope to stay here again.
