We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! The condo was exactly as shown and described in the listing. It was clean, well maintained, and had everything our small family needed for a comfortable stay. The ocean views from the lanai were absolutely beautiful and made for a perfect spot to relax each day. The location was ideal, just 20 minutes from the airport and centrally located, making it easy to explore both the East and West sides of the island. Also, Joshua was responsive and attentive throughout our stay. When we reported an issue with the iron, he arranged for it to be replaced the very same day, which we really appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this place to anyone visiting Maui.

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! We had a wonderful stay and felt very comfortable throughout the whole week. The apartment had everything we needed — plenty of towels, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry detergent and cleaning supplies, good WiFi, and overall great amenities. The instructions for check-in and check-out were very clear and easy to follow. We especially appreciated how responsive the host was. We had a small issue during check-in because of a problem with our phone, and he replied immediately and helped us get everything sorted out very quickly. The view was absolutely amazing, and we also loved having beach chairs and a dedicated parking spot. The location worked perfectly for us with a car and made it easy to explore different parts of the island. Overall, a great stay and we would definitely recommend it!

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! Our stay at Joshua was comfortable and felt like home, spacious and with an unbeatable view. It was not too hot so we did not need the AC on; the parking spot just for us and right near the apartment was ideal after a day of touring. It was overall a great stay! Highly recommend.

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! Joshua’s waterfront condo on Maui was exactly what we needed—couldn’t have picked a better spot. I was working in Kahului for a couple days while my family relaxed, and the location made everything easy. I could get to Kahului in under 15 minutes, and we were perfectly positioned for Kihei and Lahaina. A huge bonus was being just a short walk from the Maui Ocean Center. When I had the car, my wife and kids could walk over and spend the day there, which they loved. The condo was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Evenings on the lanai with the ocean were incredibly relaxing. The heated pool was a big win for the kids, especially at night. Overall, an amazing stay—perfect for both work and family time. We’d absolutely stay here again.

Inadequate Air Conditioners (too loud even to watch TVMice seen inside living room area.No veranda lighting.very inferior (uncomfortable) couch.

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! The listing says it accommodates four, but it’s much more comfortable for two adults. The main bed was fine, but the additional sleeping setup would benefit from a better mattress and upgraded pillows. For families with small kids it might work, but for four adults it’s a stretch—especially if sleep quality matters to you. The kitchen was nice and functional, and the ocean view is beautiful. There’s easy access to the bay for swimming, which was a plus. The location is very quiet and remote, so expect about a 40-minute drive to reach restaurants or major attractions. I’d recommend bringing your own shampoo and conditioner—the provided bottles were hard to use and the conditioner wasn’t great for long hair. We also experienced a nighttime power outage, which made sleeping uncomfortable due to the heat, and there was no adjustment offered. On the positive side, the pool was warm and enjoyable, and the outdoor shower was a nice touch.

Condo was perfect for my husband and I, wonderful views and very private which was nice.Quiet area yet only miles to shopping and great beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Host answered questions promptly. Would definitely stay here again, my only suggestion would be for some new cooking items to bake the one cookie sheet and round baking pan were well used. Overall the view was amazing saw many turtles just walking along property in the back and small beach area to the side was great for getting some nice seashells.

The views at our VacaMaui unit were AMAZING (we sunbathed right outside our back patio & even hung out outside for sunset on our last day) but I will say location-wise, the closest food or grocery store is ~15ish min away so do your shopping on the way over from Kahului or Kihei! Additionally, the other thing I'll add is that you do have to wash the towels yourselves at the end of your stay here (this was a first for us at an AirBNB) so if you know you'll be in a rush the day you leave, you'll have to plan accordingly for that. Also of note, if you are a coffee drinker, you'll have to buy yourself some ground coffee for the coffee machine before you settle in for the night. Our stay with VacaMaui was great. Our host was really responsive and helpful with any issues that we had in the unit & is super easy going! It was a wonderful way to unwind after the road to Hana & Haleakala!

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! My family and I stayed here over the Halloween weekend and overall had a pleasant experience. The unit offered a wonderful view and was quite clean, although there was a slight musty smell, which I imagine is due to the age of the property. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The only downside was that our flight to Maui was canceled when our home island’s airport temporarily closed, which caused us to miss the first night of our reservation. Airbnb reached out to the host on our behalf to request either a refund for that night or an extension for an additional night, but unfortunately, the host declined. It was disappointing, as it was a situation outside of our control. Aside from that, we truly enjoyed the rest of our stay. The location was great, felt safe, and was perfect for morning walks. Overall, I would still recommend this property for its view, cleanliness, and convenience.

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! Was perfect for me for my days in Maui. Being right next to the harbor makes it dry convenient to get over to the dive boat early in the morning. Also convenient being centrally located to go north or south on the island.

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! Our condo was perfect! Beautiful ocean view, convenient onsite parking, and the heated pool was amazing. Just down the way from a swimmable beach and walking distance to the Maui Ocean Center (a bit pricey for what it offers), shops, restaurants with great bay views, and Maalaea Harbor activities. We did the sunset snorkeling cruise….highly recommend! Just bring warm clothes and plan for the trade winds. Only about 10–15 minutes to shopping like Walmart and Target. Would absolutely stay again!

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! We enjoyed our 9 night stay at our 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo. Worked great for a family of 3! Everything was great in the condo, it even includes 2 body boards; 4 beach chairs; a cooler along with ice pack; pool noodles and a yoga mat! It was quiet, peaceful and we enjoyed the views! Some of the furniture was updated since photos were posted (lanai table; added air conditioner in bedroom) just in case you only looked at pictures and not the description. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes & cooking utensils for our stay. We like to grocery shop for some items. The only reason gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the lack of access directly to the beach and into the water. The view was spectacular but you have to walk half a mile down the street to get beach access, it’s not directly off the back of the condo. The beach nearby was more for locals than visitors as they set up camp on the beach. Loved the central location on the island & would stay here again!

We traveled with a toddler and baby so having the outdoor space to hang out when we weren’t exploring was very helpful. The place was as described and clean when we arrived. There were a few little bugs but nothing concerning. Overall we slept comfortably and appreciated the AC! Centrally located to all parts of Maui.

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! Pros: Very very responsive and kind management. Great location with quick access all over the island. Walkable to a great general store and beautiful views of the marina off the lanai and of Haleakala across the ocean. They also provided beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards which were very good. We didn’t use the pool or the grill but they looked nice, and the grassy area with lawn chairs was very peaceful and nice. Cons: The place was a little dirty - the washer was quite moldy and the dishware/kitchenware had residual food on it. There were several insects in the house that were more than I’d expect for Hawaii. The bathroom could also use a deep clean, there was hair in the shower when we checked in as well as other residues and flakes. Overall we enjoyed our stay here but do feel like the overall cleanliness stopped us from totally loving the place.

It was a great location with kid-friendly activities, walkable to great cafe with great coffee, close to Maui ocean center that you can watch a great whale 3D movie and walkable to access to snorkeling tour ( pride of Maui). Around 4pm we saw sea turtles at the seawall right outside! In the morning we saw sunrise from the couch bed!

I cannot say enough great things about our stay! The view is AMAZING!! The location is very convenient to the harbor. We easily walked to the meeting area for our snorkeling tour. I would absolutely stay here again!

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! First, the view is amazing. We saw sea turtles and a lobster molt as soon as we walked down to the water. That’s the reason to book here. However, I would find somewhere else because this unit wasn’t really clean. When I messaged the host about finding a used tissue and crumbs in the fold out couch bed they said their maids don’t always check that (confirming my fear that it wasn’t that clean). I had also mentioned I found a long hair on the master bed sheets when we walked in and the next morning we found the dishes caked in food in the cabinet. After traveling through airports keeping my kids from touching gross things for a whole day, the last thing I wanted was to arrive at ANOTHER place where I had to do the same. Especially when it’s a place we are paying to rest. The view is magnificent and the host was easy to deal with. We accidentally drove off with the parking pass and they allowed us to return it 1.5 hours after checkout/ even said we could mail it. Just wish it was clean.

We enjoyed hosting and would love to have them again! We booked this property for a night one a weekend getaway with the family. We lived the place. It was clean and the view was stunning. Having the ocean sound as you are drifting to sleep it was amazing. If you visit this location, don’t forget to look up the stars are something you don’t see in a city with lots of light. If we were to visit Maui again, I would totally stay here for more time.

Location wasn’t the greatest for anyone wanting a lot of activities close by, but was fine for us. Loved the grounds! Mornings/evenings on the lanai were great! A couple of details were lacking, (e.g., light out above stove, wall clock not working, junk left in ice tray and beach chairs were very soiled, (one of 4 was broken), and A/C was very noisy…minor stuff, but not perfect. Overall we liked the condo and would consider it again.

We enjoyed hosting and would love to host them again! This condo was perfect for our first trip to Maui. We were able to relax completely. The bed was very comfortable with ac in the bedroom itself. The parking was close to our door and we could see our car from our windows. The patio was our favorite place though. We sat out there for every sunrise and loved the view. Walk out to the waters edge and enjoy watching the sea turtles, we saw many every day. The pool was clean and nice. The location is very central and made it easy to get to many of the places around the island. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved having our morning coffee right outside by the water, listen to the waves and stargazing at night. Location was great although there’s no beach right in front, you’d have to drive to the beach that wasn’t a big deal and I was aware of that when I booked the rental. We landed early and asked to check in early which they couldn’t accommodate other than that place is cool, awesome view. Can’t complain

Great unit, centrally located. No beach access. A short drive to Sugar Beach, a beautiful walkable beach. Not for swimming. Very very windy location. Nice pool. Very well decorated and stocked. However there were maintenance issues to be resolved regarding screens/sliding door and window. Trouble with TV, resolved 1st day.

The condo was great. We love this location. We were able to walk to the harbor for the snorkeling tour and snacks. We saw turtles everyday we were there, and eanjoyed the beautiful grounds for sunrise every morning. We loved the soft grass and comfortable loungers for coffee each morning. And, having a cooler, beach towels and beach chairs made trips to the beach easy. The condo was clean and had all the basics. Excellent value for the money.

Amazing guest! Place was clean but our clean towels smelled like mildew, there were a few roaches, and it was loud because children kept jumping into our patio area. No privacy.
